While the + seems to be a very nice update (and a beginning of a new old era for the silo)-I’ll get to try it soon-I am very much looking forward to adidas doing a new X from the ground up. To be precise: I think, that is what we get with the +, a true next-generation boot, while the .1 models seem to be a facelift of the Speedportals (of course). Reminds me of Apple’s way of doing things. Overall, a fascinating move: Who would have thought that the laceless won’t be at the top of the silo matrix in 2023 anymore?!

I think the laceless .1 boots will become my go-to coaching boots if they fit as well as I think they wil. I have 3 pairs of speedflow.1 that I use for my real playing and heavy training sessions for my game, but the laceless models seem like a good easy to throw on pair that won't give up a lot and will be good for lower intensity sessions and coaching where I don't need that step up the speedflows still seem to offer. Great review as always!

Great reviews as always and while I do love one piece upper boots I just think it’s refreshing to wear something with a stand-alone u-throat tongue footballs that we used to have for years.

Definitely not, no carbon fiber plate, rips easily from what I see as the material is actually crazy thin.

I miss the thickness of the 16.1 because if yoy got cleated on your toes you would barely feel it these...you will scream and get sores with punctures so more injuries....😂 If they just added padding or some thickness to have pressure of clears be less would be better.

my son just bought the X Crazyfast boots. One of the reasons...thinking they would be lighter than his current New Balance boots. Just weighed them... New Balance boot 237 grams CrazyFast Boot 281 Grams Just a heads up in case you think they are going to be lighter than what you already have.

Yep, or at least 99% the same with some minor, minor differences in the TPU film coating, but it's negligible, so yeah... it's the same :) /Jay

That's on odd comparison. If you prefer a flexible natural feeling boot, I'd say the gx. If you like ridged and on your toes then I'd say .1

If you like a more comfortable leather like boot go for the tiempos, if you want barefoot, light and reactive boot go for the Crazyfast

If we're talking Crazyfast+, it's very close. I might prefer Crazyfast but honestly it's 50:50 for me as the Speeflows were THAT good. If it's Crazyfast.1, then Speedflows any day of the week for me. /Jay

I’d love the crazyfast+ but the price is crazy. My speedflow.1 cost 320NZD full price and these are 550NZD which is just not feasible for a boot that’ll get exposed to wear and tear, especially with how thin it looks. How is the durability?

I've worn my Crazylight+ (basically the Crazyfast+ with a different name) A LOT since they dropped, and they look surprisingly good in terms of durability. Holding up well even though I've been a naughty boy and also worn them on AG. /Jay
