They're Creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky. They're altogether Ooky. The Addams Family. Yes, that's right. This spooky season brings a new Halloween Build. It's the Addams Family House from the movies. In Part 1 of this 2 part tutorial i'll run you through all the steps needed to make this fantastic and frightening house including the full interior layout ready for your to decorate.

The outside of the build is perfectly awesome, but I'm not too thrilled about the sandstone interior walls. Maybe part 2 will change my mind...

You can always change the interior to any blocks you like but I based it on the entrance in the film.

Looooove this build ❤ Any ideas on how to replace the trapdoors at the front door, tho??? I’m using vanilla minecraft, and i Don’t like how normal trapdoors look there. Oh, and i changed the door to a mangroove one.

Thank you! You can still use vanilla Minecraft but use a texture pack, but failing that I’d use mangrove trapdoors

Decided to build this, but switched up a lot of the materials - don’t think the Adamm’s family would have bright colours like sandstone etc in their home, so using nether bricks instead to keep it gothic 🖤

What’s the seed of this world and where you built the house? I’m asking because my friend and I are having a racing to see who can build this the fastest in survival.

Check out the world download for the seed. I did heavily edit the area to create the building platform (using world edit) so if you find the seed then it won’t look quite the same. But if you want to race you can always take the copy, deleted the house and start from there
