Great tutorial even though I’m English. Only thing I’d change is I’d not stick down the gps antennae and install all the interior parts of the car until I’ve tested it works

Hi. It is ok to stick inside the GPS antenna in the dashboard but the GPS signal may be weaker.

5:45 those black dots interfere with the signal....best place is behind the rearview mirror...that is also where there is no sunprotection layer...specially for these kind of things.

In locul aeratoarelor din consola, ar merge 3 ceasuri analogice pentru masurarea diferitilor parametri ai motorului, astfel ar fi complet bordul din punct de vedere al functionalitatii, cat si al designului(se vede urat imbinarea dintre unitate si aeratoare). In rest, good job! P.S. daca vopsesti consola si aeratoarele laterale in culoarea piano black, se va vedea mai frumos, gen Pejo RCZ...

Hi. 1. Yes. 2. Some Android tablet versions (usually those with an Octa Core processor) also support Internet data SIM. But you can also use the Internet connection from your phone via WiFi Hotspot, that's how I use it.

Yes it will fit, and some come indeed with a 4g simcard slot. But best is to connected via bluetooth and make your phone create a hotspot automatically when the Bluetooth connection is made.

Congratulations !!! I bought this Multimedia but the FM radio volume setting is very high at the very least, this only happens on the Radio, in the songs and video clips on the pendrive the volume control is normal, do you know if there's anything I can do?

Hello. I think in the Factory Settings menu there are some settings for the sound volume for each source. This menu differs from unit to unit.

@@AdrianDragan Salut este un Peugeot 307 din 2006. Am reușit să recunoască canbus (!?) Cu configurația de Peugeot 308 . Merge controlul de la volan, recunoaște temperatura.....și cam atât. Am văzut vre.o 20 de video și am rezolvat treabă. Oricum mersi mult, video al tău mi.a fost de mare ajutor.

I install this yesterday in my girlfriend's car, a 307 cc 2004 so first gen(?). The problem is that the Multimedia unit or screen turns on every time you open the doors of the car. You don't even have to put in or turn the key. The screen turns of after a while, but I want it only to work when you turn the key and make sure it is not draining the battery.

Did you find a solution to this? Just installed the same exact model in my 307 (2003) and it is always on. Can’t even force it to shutdown, only some idle/sleep mode, where it shows the clock - and after a few minutes, the screen turns off, but I’m pretty sure it’s still on, as it never shows the Android boot-logo or Peugeot logo, but just turns straight on. My old standard stock-radio did turn off, when the car was off, and could only turn on, when ignition is on, so can’t be a fuse-problem. Maybe bad wiring from the vendor?

@@piffinger6485 I eventually found out, that it wasn't always on. It got triggered, when I activated/deactivated the central locking. If I park my car, close the doors and activate the central lock, the radio might continue to play for 30 seconds or so, but will eventually shutdown in the end. I've kept my unit mounted for more than a year now, no drained battery, so the conclusion must be, that it turns off, or at least goes to a stand-by mode, that uses next to no power.

I was able to swith a certain cable in the back so, as in your case, the radio will "go off" ca. 2 mins after turning the ignition off BUT when I get back to the car and open it it immediately continues where it was before. But as you say, that's got to be the standby mode and it's good to hear you've had no battery problems.

Hi! How did they solve the problem? I have a Citroen C3 (2008) and a canbus Raise device. Steering wheel controls are ok, display open doors too, but I can't get into the car settings because the buttons are not working, as shown in the video. Thanks in advance

After installing the multimedia car unit (MCU) I lost the ability to control the multifunctional display on the dashboard. It took me quite a while until I managed to figure it out. My MCU has a CAN BUS decoder, and I set it in settings to RCZ->Peugeot/Citroen->408->RCZ.2014. Then I disconnected and reconnected the car battery because apparenty the decoder needs to be restarted. Afterwards the MCU buttons controlling the multifunctional display were working again. The display even shows the current radio frequency when changing radio stations. Also, only the Peugeot 408 model option worked for me, nothing else. I have a 2006 Peugeot 307 HDI.

Salutare! Ce unitate Android ai si din ce an este masina ta? Unitatea ta are decodor canbus? Acea cutiuta neagra mica in spatele unitatii Android. Daca are decodor canbus probabil trebuie setat corect in meniul Car sau Factory settings.

Salut. Sunetul este la fel cu aceasta navigatie. Daca vrei o inbunatatire semnificativa a sunetului va trebui sa antifonezi usile, sa schimbi boxele si sa montezi un amplificator.

Salutare. Nu am incercat sa curat lupele si nu cred ca aceasta poate fi o rezolvare care sa dea rezultate prea bune. Odata matuite sau afumate nu vor mai fi ca noi, sa nu mai spun de faptul ca nu e tocmai usor sa le dezasamblezi. Din ce-mi amintesc bine niste faruri noi aftermarket sunt pe la 250-300 lei bucata. Nu cred ca merita efortul sa le demontezi si sa le cureti pe cele vechi.

Am investigat purin problema si am descoperit ca setarile nu merg din cauza unei incompatibilitzti a modulului CanBus cu care este livrata unitatea Android. Am vorbit cu vanzatorul si a promis ca intr-o saptamana vor schimba furnizorul unitatilor canbus si atunci nu va mai fi nicio problema.

Hello. The problem is with the canbus decoder of the Android unit, that little black box behind the Android unit. You must have the Raise PSA-RZ-01 model, it is compatible with the controls of the original screen on the dashboard. Check which canbus model you have connected to your Android unit. On the top left touch screen panel you will find a small hole next to which reads RST. Insert a small needle into that hole and press the switch on it, the unit will restart. However, I don't think the problem is with the Android unit, I think it's from the video signal cable or even the faulty camera.

As far as I know there is no possibility it can install a physical volume button. There is a power supply of 500-600 mA on the USB jacks, probably if you connect the iPad to one of the USB jacks it will charge very slowly.

@@piffinger6485 actually i never did anything about it. i noticed that when I turn off the engine, the electronic stays on for a few minutes. To allow windows etc to be used and such. After 1-2 two minutes the internal relay turns off all power in to hibernation state, including the stereo. This works just fine for me aswell

@@rasmusgpetersen Okay, thanks for your reply! I tried the same already, removing they key, but after several minutes it's still in sleep mode. Maybe I should try it with the locked door. Another reason may be that my 307CC will ALWAYS need the central power supply for the windows to open 1 or 2 cm when using the door handle and for the alarm system.

I have a strange problem . So my car is 307 - 2007year . Everything was smooth during installation, when i started the car everything worked fine . My wheel controls work fine . However day after the installation, my original Multi-function Display ( the one that is close to the window) started to go crazy , it started to blink and turn on and off rapidly (its like going dark mode on and off ) , it started to show different info, and is doing very often DIAGNOSIS. Salut am înlocuit și eu vechiul radio cd cu un sistem ca aceasta quad core. Toate bune și frumoase dar nu pot să mai reglez afișajul de pe consolă. A rămas pe intermitent cu dată și oră nereglate. Salut, De obicei unitatea vine si cu canbus, dar cel mai bine intreaba vanzatorul inainte de a cumpara. Link-urile puse de mine in descrierea clipului au si canbus. Platesti si ceva taxe vamale (19%) pentru valori intre 10 si 100 euro. Eu am platit pana in 80 de lei daca-mi amintesc bine.

Hello. Dedicated navigation for a car model also includes the Canbus module. About the necessary tools some sellers include plastic wedges, but you will have to buy a Torx T20 wrench.
