WANT TO STUDY 12-14 HOURS/DAY? - THE ONLY TECHNIQUE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS! #pomodoro #neetug

How I study for longer with full concentration - get your desired college and branch using this technique- the POMODORO.
However as always i’ll emphasise the importance of DISCIPLINE over motivation. Discipline is more important than motivation. Pomodoro too works only with discipline.

Remember- Pomodoro only works with discipline. If you don’t have discipline, the very first 5 min break will become 50 minutes. Otherwise - it’s brilliant. You’ll study for longer without even realising it or feeling tired. For those saying that exam is 3 hours - well - this meant for days whe we tend to procrastinate - much before exams. In the month leading upto exam - like I said - the fear /excitement is enough to drive almost anyone to study for longer. Also, even in exams - I have used Pomodoro. After 1 hour - or after finishing on section - it’s always necessary to take 2-3 min pause. Take a deep breath. Relax for a bit. We all do it subconsciously during exams.

pandemic took a toll on me when it came to studies, i simply could not sit and study anymore, until i came across pomodoro technique. i personally use 50min sessions followed by 10min until im done for the day. my marks started going up and i felt very confident in my studies. pomodoro really works if you take breaks and study in the time efficiently and honestly. if your break is up, you have to get back to your work no matter what happens.

Thank you Dr. Aditya, the fear of failure really drives you to study until 12-14 hours even I used to go further for 18 hours but what i realised that even if I study 8 hours to 10hours and my revision time is more or practice time is more than it is more worth the shot than studying 18 hours, why because studying 18 hours led me destroy my activities and my health which made me depressed at one moment. It's an advice to everyone, if you are studying for 12 hours make sure you get adequate rest, sleep and time for doing exercise and your chores. You don't know when your life would end, so do these activities and enjoy your life by balancing everything. If you get a disease like me by ignoring your health then you won't be able to study, so watch for your mental and physical health also. The way Dr. Aditya says to break time by pomodoro method is an extremely great thing to do, you can actually complete your hobbies in those short interval of time you take as break, you can apply different pomodoro also it depends, it will keep your mental sanity perfect and also you won't be tiring yourself much. A great video, you guys must watch.

honestly whatever Dr Gupta said , it all makes sense . As much glorious as it might seem studying continously for long hours, it may or may not be effective , it depends so it IS important for us to realize what works for us. and it's so so true that discipline is really important . "you may not be motivated every single day but you can be disciplined everyday." , not my words but true that.

Im a 3rd year mbbs student...and here is my advice juniors...Dont force yourself to study ...make it a habbit...dont compare your performance with others ( well except for neet😅)...study like you are learning something new with excitement...have that curiosity or else make your own story and study... Trust me when u study like this you can study long hours and you will never forget in ur lifetime... whatever doctor said in the video is 100 percent true and even i used it...i study 1 and half hours straight non stop with 15 minutes break and i countinue like this for 10 hours max...it is highly effective and what i understand in 3 days is reduced to 10 hours ☺️..

As per psychology it says that if you are given something to memorize or learn you will mostly remember the first and the last bits more than the middle bits.so to increase the memory power you make smaller chunks and take tiny breaks thus increasing the amount of 1st and last bits. I don't know whether this makes sense but at Uni we were taught about this not to study continuously for longer hours

Like you said I study of two hours and feel like I've achieved something great and end up wasting my whole day🌚 And the fact that we study only when exams are near is also detrimental in the sense that it's the time when we should be revising instead of going through rigorous study sessions. It's high time our schools start focusing on training the students in these aspects of life because with the advent of online education, it's very easy to find syllabus orientated material everywhere. What is required is training to build a formidable work ethic and discipline. This is where schools will have to play a crucial role in the 21st century. Thank you for enlightening us.

After getting 2 gold medals in diploma and degree in mechanical engineering i too myself used to study a lot. Iam in a good paying job 23 year wanted to join upsc cs but now everything changed i cant focus my habits are ruined. I remember when friends asked me how you study like this i used to tell them that there is no secret even i wonder about my friends how they watch web series and all when solid mechanics or vibration is subjects. Now i know why i was like that cause it was my discipline towards my goal or the urge to get the appreciation in family gatherings😊😊

This is by far the most effective pomodoro..something i feel would work for myself. I often feel like i do one or two tasks of the day.. and then i feel i need a break and then whole day becomes break.. just because the breaks are not scheduled i dont know how i soend my time

I'll try this technique. After the pandemic started, I couldn't focus on my studies at all because of distractions. I knew I had to study, but I would always take 5 minute KZfaq breaks and I'd end up wasting hours.

What he said about procrastination and the ability we all possess to study for long hours is true. If we can study for long hours during exam period then we should be able to do the same on regular days too. Also the Pomodero method might be useful to some but not all. There is no universal answer to every question. A method like pomodero is useful for only those who have high concentration to begin with. As for me, as soon as I will get a break and so something, my concentration will get break and then I won't be able to study....Once my concentration breaks or when I go to study, it at least takes me around 15-20 minutes to gain concentration and actually able to understand what I am studying. Pomodero is a method that is not for me and for many more too. The best way is for one to discover their true nature and act according to it.

This problem is with me too, I can study constantly for 3 hours straight but fails to do Pomodoro techniques because I'm not that disciplined to leave my phone after 10 min of break. In the end, what works for you, works for you.
