Excellent point on noticing when shock is extended when wheel is jacked. I have seen many people adjust the coil over without considering the actual compression when the car is lowered

The best way is to just take the spring out .and install them in the ROUND FILE then run the coilover all the way up

Very impotant! You need to have the weight off of the coilover, so you will need to have it on a jack or stands

CAN someone help me!? I have lowering spring and I want to go lower than what they are capable of in the rear. I also have a divorce shock and spring in the rear. Will a adjustable height spring mount make my car go lower by going to the lowest setting by compressing the spring. I have a Bm F30 Xdrive. Can someone confirm me what can I do.

Totally, except for me it's that I installed rears literally yesterday and just guessed. I wasn't far off, but holy hell this would have been useful at the time. At least I know how to set it up when I get to the car tomorrow morning.

Doesn’t have to be, but the back two rear should be the same and the front to should be the same at least. If not you just have weird fitment or one side will be higher or lower than the other side

@@oVxrusthis kind of my question trip out my shock heights are the same right and both sides from the rear from the ground up to the wheel we’ll sit at the same high but if you look at the coilovers gaps the left side has more thread showing Wich is a bigger gap then the right side coilovers the right side has less threads showing less gap is that normal or did I do something wrong I mean it height wise it’s the same I’m just confused
