Today i bring you the Japanese brand Adler and the model is the Horenso. Full kangaroo leather upper, conical studs with an old school feel but, is it good? I heard many great things about these boots from close friends few of them beign @haltsboots, @NoahCavanaugh, and many more so i decided to have at them. First impressions i was wowed with the presentation and the contents of the box which included a nice string bag, extra set of insoles and the nice japanese tags and of course the boots themselves. In hand for the first time the boots looked amazing! I am a sucker for white boots. They are soft out the box and just have a great build quality to them, stitching, materials etc. past the in hand part comes the on feet and first time trying them on at home they felt like butter in my feet but they did seemed to be slightly longer then i would of liked even though i went a full size down from my usual US sizing probably could of gone size and a half for that perfect fit. Back to feel yes they felt buttery soft and comfortable right out the box and walking around. Training time comes along and thats when i noticed things about this boots i am not too crazy about. Number one yes the upper is buttery soft but for my liking i will say too soft that i was getting foot roll on cutting even wearing grip socks, granted sizing could have a fault on this since they were a little longer than expected but i felt the upper is way soft that it lacks that nice structure and therefore i have to say if you like you foot to be secured at all times maybe these boots aren’t a great choice. Number 2 the soleplate is very flexible and as soft as the upper is i would of like the soleplate to compensate a little being somewhat stiffer. Now for the things i liked about the boots number one, the stud configuration and length is perfect for both AG and natural grass, number two the pull tab in the back is very helpfully and looks good! Number three, presentation, number four the aesthetics of the boots are amazing and last but not least they are light. Overall the Horenso is a great boot if you are looking for that somewhat old school feel with a modern take. wide footed players would also love the volume and softness of the upper which should mold exactly to your foot but for me is an okay boot that will probably be used only when i stop liking my puma king ultimates😜 ( sorry for the long review and the mid videos i am still recovering from my ACL tear)
