Everyone, If you want CMD then choose "Windows Powershell (Admin)" it has the same features of CMD but it has been replaced on right click start menu. Also the administrator is disabled by default. If you want to enable is run the "Windows Powershell (Admin)" and type: "net user administrator /active:yes" to disable it type: "net user administrator /active:no" If you want to disable or enable a different user, then just change the user "administrator" from "net user administrator /active:yes" If you can't get it working, and you probably don't have access for it. That means your user is a limited access user.

If anyone is getting the "System error 5 has occurred" error try right clicking cmd before opening it and selecting run as administrator and run the command again. It's what ended up working for me.

Storm Smash it is our fault of your own mistake that you caused. But if you go to google, and look for systems like NT password recovery tool or tools like it, you can re-create an administrator account again. Also for another possibly fix, try using system restore.

Just as a quick question.. what is the current operating system that the computer is? Windows 7, 8 or Windows 10? That can give me details of solutions. I know that I can fix this issue very simple. You just need windows installation disk by bypassing windows logons with utilman.exe, This gives you cmd.exe as system user that can recreate a administrator account. goo.gl/QJaz2x

@@DeliciousMenuChannel there is no solution on youtube just go to a shop and they will fix it What i saw them do 1st is i think they power it with safe mode and a new admin user just popped out then they fix it there in the user it has process..

Its alright guys just reformat it ur account will back to admin , go search for recovery > then advanced setup , then restart now > then trouble shoot and then choose ur reformat options , reformat with settings apps reset and ur back to admin but ur files will dissapear , sorry to let u know tat . hope this helps to those really need help now

Brah, its just a user that allows you to make changes that will affect other users. It can also change security settings, install software and hardware, and access all files on the computer..... So what ever you did that messed up your computer, is your problem. The most funnest part of your message is the cost. Average computer repair for reinstalling/repair operating system.. is like $99. So they ripped you off like hell for $900.

Yeah you need to run Command prompt as a administrator so for that search for Command Prompt on your windows search bar then do right click on the Command prompt then select run as an administrator!! I hope it works ..
