About Josef Newgarden:
Josef Newgarden (born December 22, 1990) is an American race car driver who was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee.
He found a passion for racing at a very early age which immediately led to go kart racing prior to his pursuit of a professional motorsports career. He is the only American to win the prestigious Formula Ford Festival in England, a well-known proving ground for up and coming European drivers. After a foray into Europe he returned to the United States to compete in the Indy Lights Series, securing the championship in his one and only season. In 2012, he secured a multi-year contract to compete professionally in the NTT IndyCar Series, a rare offer for a rookie driver.
He is the 2017 and 2019 NTT Indycar Series Champion and drives the No. 1 Dallara Chevrolet for the legendary Team Penske.

Well this SRX loving Indycar 3 generation Indycar Fans Family loved watching you race last Saturday. My 12yr old son was stoked when found out you were racing. Good luck the rest of the season.

Great to see RHR still racing. So this is what the retired INDYCAR drivers do kind of cool :). I wish we had more tracks like this is the NW or a nice short oval like IOWA would be awesome. Amazing Paul Tracy did announcing for so long without cussing. Great job Josef onto Gateway woooohoooo. You could tell those cars were hot the drivers look like they just ran a marathon.

Well, that was short and sweet. It was be awesome to see some of you IndyCar driver's come to NASCAR for some good short track racing. I believe you said you would love to try out Bristol. Maybe with the boss letting you try this one off show he'll be more open to NASCAR. I know Helio tried for year's and it was always a firm NO!!!

@@YEEYEE-dy8tk I know it was SRX. I watched the race. I was referring to his desire to race in NASCAR if given the chance. He, along with several other IndyCar driver's have talked about racing short tracks, road courses and even the Daytona 500. As have NASCAR driver's talked of racing IndyCar. Especially the Indy 500.

I don't know how you guys could have anything to do with tony Stewart after what he did to that young man on the track. I don't watch anything that Stewart does. I quit watching NHRA because of him. To this day he hasn't apologized to that kids parents. Thumbs down on this video, I'm not watching it.
