Yep, I have same feeling about InDesign aswell. Every year they improve illustrator, Photoshop and premier pro with so many updates and speed improvements whereas InDesign didn't get any major updates

It's SO helpful how you repeat the tip again as summary after showing the process. Normally people just explain it once and move on. But having it repeated twice really let's it sink in. Thank you!!

Thank you for your tutorial. When I hold down option + double click, I can't open photoshop. It opens preview on Mac. Do I need to change some settings? Thanks

Is there any possible way of doing the content aware wrap in photoshop or illustrator ? (I know one method of doing this in photoshop wherein we make path around the image or subject with pen tool and then the text tool shows a circle around the cursor and wraps the text around the path). I need something easy and better

Text Wrap>Select subject is a great new feature but make sure that Text Wrap Only Affects Text Beneath is unchecked in the Text Wrap section of the Composition panel in Preferences otherwise it won't work. Why it's the default setting is beyond me!

6:37 Alternatively, you could have converted the selection from Photoshop as a path and then used it from the linked image in InDesign without editing the image.

Thanks for this video! Trying these out now. For the wrap feature, the "Contour Options" are greyed out and I'm not sure why...any ideas?

By the time I have invoked content aware wrap, then corrected its mistakes, I could have just drawn a better clip myself. A years wait for this as the main update?!

The contour options seems to be always greyed out. Why is that please can you help ???

In previous iterations, once a file is open someone else could not open it. Now you can. I’m not sure if I like this and does it mean that two people can edit the same InDesign file at the same time? To me this seems like a recipe for disaster.

I hate when they make unnecessary changes that interferes with productivity because I have to take time to watch videos on where to find or how to use features!!!!
