Maraming versions ng adobo, I believed lahat un masarap. Ang adobo ko nmn ay ginigisa ko muna sa konting luya, sibuyas at maraming bawang. Nagbubukod pa ako ng toasted garlic for garnish. Brown sugar din ang gamit ko. Ang lasa din nya ay naghahalo ang tamis, asim at alat. Hindi pwedeng lamang ung isa, dpt pantay ang lasa. Tpos medyo tuyo, ayoko ng masabaw na adobo.

Thank you, Chef JP! Kooya is my favorite Filipino restaurant here in Dubai, naging comfort food ko at talagang dinadayo pa namin from Deira. I've only starting cooking in the recent weeks, and I find myself binge watching your vlogs every now and then, tapos I will wake up feeling inspired to cook something the next day. great food, great company, sinampal lang talaga ako ng kahirapan hahaha.... for some reason i find the table very busy for my eyes hahaha a bit excessive in my opinion. ung adobo an alarm ko parang soy, suka, laurel, asukal, karne at bawang lang eh hehehe but its a great upgrade using the coconut water to elevate the dish's sweet element.

I am subscribed to all of your videos, Chef JP. Ganda ng cuts ng pork, mabuti nakapagdala ka dyan akala ko dati bawal. Di kasi masarap ang pork dyan kasi always shipped and sold frozen for longer amt of time. Also perhaps I missed the adding of whole peppercorns. Sarap nyan chef! Used to work there for quite some time. Cheers!

I love the part na ayaw gamitin yung special butter fPara sa tinapay niya lang 😂 siempre from France pa!! Because I’m that way. I have patis na pang luto and the expensive one for sawsawan. Yung olive oil is always a point of contention between my husband and I. Kasi gusto niya lahat olive oil ang pang prito. And huwag naman niya saffronan lahat 😂(pasalubong pa ng anak ko from Barcelona)

the original pinoy adobo has garlic, laurel leaves, pepper, toyo n suka. Chef JP is correct. no onion. you revised d orig adobo. no potato n catsup. your adobo menu is for big family..its ok if you wanted it that way

Traditional kafamfangan adobo ,, meron din puting adobo instead na toyo ang gagamitin adin at suka lang.. asim at alat lang ang adobo kafamfangan..don’t forget the laurel leaves or the samputsamput,

Not sure if you put pepper 😊 try putting onion on your adobo 1 kilo pork 1 big piece of red onion. Marinade meat with lots of garlic onions small amount of banana ketchup siy sauce and vinegar and ground pepper. Marinade for 3 hours minimun. Saute garlic and onions then pour the marinated pork and simmer. While boiling then lower heat and cook for 1 and half to 2 hours. You dont need to add water. Add potatoes to garnish. Dont use laurel and just put small amnt of sugar. Perfect adobo

Same here Chef JP, gusto ko lasang-lasa yung asim sa adobo but still well balance ang flavors with saltiness & konting sweetness. True that you need lots of patience na maghalo-halo to achieve a good cooked fried rice. My husband loves fried rice kaya medyo I have a few fried rice imbento recipes already.
