I figured I'd give this a try today. This will require more consistency at playing 4 and 8 key 16ths at 256 BPM, but happy I got it done with this amount of checkpoints. The video is almost edited too well. I did not get this in one go! It will be a looooong time before that.

That's actually because this is segmented, at the section where those high speed presses end and pass over to the slower part, he's not stopping the rapid presses in time, so it ends up flooding over to that next section. If that happens in ADoFaI, you get the "overload" prompt, meaning you pressed too many times too early and the game will fail you on the spot.

The part I think is the most impressive by far is if you look at his keyboard tracking software during the insane mashing sections. You can see that there are never two keys pressed at the same time, my man is legit rhythmically alternating between keys that fast

Cool reccomendation to try, use a software that changes your key colors based on keypresses (a heatmap basically) so the more you press a specific key the more the color changes. Possibly could look dope

We all learn at different rates! Keep playing and having fun and the speed and stamina will come. I have 17 years of rhythm game experience now. I use KeysPerSecond 8.3, which I think I googled and found on Github.

As someone who doesn't play much adofai, what's even the indication for the rhythm on the really fast parts? Do you just have to look in the editor or is there something that tells you how fast to press?

For me it was watching Korean players try this. On the old version you can do the fast parts by pressing multiple keys. So the extremely fast part is done by hitting 4 keys with each hand at a rate of 256 BPM 64th notes, but really 256 BPM 16ths since each hand is using 4 keys. Still tough as you have to reduce to 32nd notes in a lot of these not to overload.
