Wonderful, you have a gorgeous Herd there. I live in the UK, have two Herds, two neutered boars (brothers) rescued and each has two sows. We have a big C & C set-up and fleece. The boys are amazing characters and watching the Herd dynamics is beautiful. Our lives are busy, but we made the decision to rescue 6 and they come first always. I have a big Guinea pig first aid kit and we are always prepared. I also registered my piggies with our vet and they have a check up when they first come home. I am very much of the mind to rescue Guinea Pigs, there are so many needing homes. x

I have 10 girl guinea pigs. I love my girls . Keeping my girls happy , healthy and well fed and safe is number 1. Sending hugs have 12 guinea pigs is awesome ❤️❤️❤️

This might sound silly to some BUT I KNOW you guys will TOTALLY understand where I'm coming from when I say that I literally cried watching as you were taking them out to put them in their new home ( cage ) BUT I mean that in the nicest way because it just made me feel so happy for your boars & I know they'll be just fine because you are just amazing to them & you can really feel how much you love your piggies. Im from Malaysia and we mostly got our gp from breeder or pet store cause gp are not common pet in here. I get what u mean that even we got our gp from breeder or pet store, we still providing a better home for them cause they deserve it too. Love ur channel!

I love guinea pigs I have a pregnant one they are so friendly and a pinch hurts more than their bite just be careful with them because if its too hot for them they can get a stroke

i adopted my first girl from a friend. she was alone for 6 months. she about 3 years old.im her 4th home. i live in the middle of nowhere the close recuse was 3 hrs away. so i bought a baby girl from a local new pet shop. she was being beating up by the other pigs. she is the sweeties thing ever.

I have 6 pets now, and get the side eye a lot like "why?" But my snake has a huge enclosure, my 2 bunnies have one whole room all for them and get to free roam the house, my 2 hamsters have big terrariums each and my dog gets to be with me almost 24/7 since that works with my life style 😊 I love animals, and if I see animals that need homes I'm gonna make it work.

I am guilty of Petstore guinea pig purchase, it’s usually not planned, but even yesterday I went and saw a lonely male with no hay and no water and he was shaking in his hide. He immediately came home with me 😢😅 my family has now banned me from going to pet stores by myself…. He completed our herd at 7 piggies.

I would like to point out that getting guinea pigs from Craiglist or buying it from somebody who's rehoming pigs can be not as pleasant. As u mention alot of times those pigs belong to people who couldn't take care of them so most of the times they come with health problems.... And it can be very expensive. Also research the rescues where u get them from... there is alot of resellers in the guinea pig world... people adopt pigs for free and re selling them or underground breeding. My best advice is to adopt for an reputable registered rescue or and ethical breeder that shows their pigs in cavy shows. Because they focus on health, temperament, and breed type. We need healthy pigs for future generations.... supporting ethical breeders is as important as supporting ethical rescues

Having 3 boys together scares me. Keep a watch on them and it's okay if you have to separate them or make pairs. I was so sad when I had to make my boys side by side. I was told by the LAGPR that skinnies can be hard to bond. They got along until they were about 10 months old.
