This is a very special episode for me as this is the last episode I worked on. We also had a bit more time on this one compared to others so the quality on this episode may look a bit smoother. Me and my team, we stayed back at the office after hours a lot, not just because we want to put in more effort, but we're also a bit sad to part with it. Mao Mao is such a fun project to do that everyone is happy to work on it. The final day that I finished all my scenes, I watched through all of my works on Mao Mao, from the first one (I joined since the 2nd episode, which is the 3rd episode worked on, Mao Mao episodes are not done in order LoL) to the one I just finished. How much I improved after each episode. How much sleepless nights I had for that improvement. How much I really love working on this project. It's such a bittersweet feeling. I never want to stop doing animation works on Mao Mao. So for all of you who enjoyed watching the series, thank you for loving this as much as I love this, or maybe even more ❤️❤️❤️

Okay maybe this is a stretch but maybe the Ruby Pure Heart gem is an artifact that responds to high concentrations of heartbreak. Since everyone in Pure Heart Valley was overall happy before Mao Mao arrived, I hypothesize that it never activated, except for the force field around the town in S1 E1, until Mao Mao broke it with the aerocycle. Remember when the Sky Pirates turned their airship into that Orangusnake mecha? Because of increased, high concentrations of heartbreak from how Mao Mao and the team would always beat them. Adorabat is acting similarly and if S2 ever happens I want this explained. Cartoon Network I hope you read this. Peace out nerds.
