@@isagothmoth Yeah, they weren’t doing too much relaxing horseback riding after this. The Greeks slaughtered or enslaved every single Trojan. There’s a scene in the Iliad where Odysseus grabs Hector’s baby by the foot and throws him off the balcony so there wouldn’t be a surviving heir to the throne. There were a few Trojan children that weren’t murdered but enslaved instead, but for the most part all the Trojans were killed. The Homeric epics are absolutely gruesome. I was a Classics major and until we read Homer in my Greek classes I had no idea how crazy violent it all was since I hadn’t read them in English. Wait the small leaning movement caused by inertia when the horse starts moving is acted out? It's such a natural action! Whoa this dude can act out the tiniest details, I'm mega impressed.

alternate universe where they don’t actually come out and kill everyone, but instead wait till everyone’s asleep and sneak out of there. that’s the kind of universe I wanna live in.

@@emily8164 The war started because Trojan king stole the Greek's King wife, the war lasted 10 years, by that point the king was already dead, there was no actual reason to continue the war.
@zombiejelly41112 жыл бұрын
@@cycle3773 it’s literally a myth. Created by a Roman poet. Sooo no one really died from the wooden horse attack. Also the whole war was just a book however historians agree a war probably happened but not over a woman. Homier created the original story and then Romans created their own virsions after words adding the horse

"I can't wait to show all the sick and injured Children this Giant Wooden Horse, it would be a real shame if something came up that I couldn't show it to them, my entire life has been a real disaster but this singular Wooden Horse would bring Happiness to me and the Children, after my entire Family dying I never would have thought that something like this Giant Wooden Horse of such a miracle would bring Happiness from what I have been through, I am so lucky to have seen and going to bring this to share with others that are sick, injured, and diseased, it will bring all hope and Joy in this sad of a time, I'm so grateful for this Wooden Horse" ~The people in the Horse crying~
