** Jesus is the way. proverbs - The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous. 2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits. 3 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. 4 The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. 5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. 6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. 7 When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. 8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. 9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. 10 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment. 11 A just weight and balance are the Lord's: all the weights of the bag are his work. 12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness. 14 The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it. 16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! 17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul. 18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. 19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. 20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. 21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning. 22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly. 24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. 25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. 28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends. 29 A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good. 30 He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass. 32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Age doesn't equal maturity, Monique. Sometimes people younger than you can be right. She has to humble herself. She never admits when she's wrong, she's very stubborn. She could barely agree with Steve on anything when she was on his show, and Steve is way older than her. I wish she would stop trying to make it seem like Adrienne is 5 years old! SMDH! Monique was being shady as hell and very childish in her comedy act. Being an older woman doesn't mean you know it all and that you always respond to things the way you should. She made a bad decision to respond that way. I just hope she can own up to it one day, learn from it, and move forward. Stop trying to defend bad behavior!!

Khadija Newell I disagree. That's what's wrong with this generation right now and why the world is so out of hand. The young don't want to sit down and listen to wisdom to receive knowledge. They so eager to be recognized as being grown and they wonder why they find themselves in the same situations over and over again. I don't believe in cussing because I don't feel it's ladylike. I was raised differently than many young adults. I came from a strict home where my parents did not spare the rod. I believe in respecting the elderly. I would never disrespect an elder or mother. That being said, Monique is right, Adrienne doesn't have the life experiences that she does. It is nothing wrong with it, but her point is valid

Well, I am not 50-65 yet. I don't think she dismissed Adrienne. I remember when I was 30, I didn't understand when people said that. It actually takes some age and experience to get it. Idk the backstory but if Adrienne actually said “Just because you’re loud doesn’t mean you’re right” I agree with that. But when I say that I’m not targeting it towards African Americans I’m targeting it to everyone. If that was simply it I'd agree too. @@aureliajohnson4123 I hear what you're saying and I too value our older generation and seek wisdom from them but this wasn't the situation here. Sometimes I advice my parents on situations and they are extremely wise, but they're human and occasionally don't always make the best choices. I disagree in some aspects with your statement. There's many aspects to note that makes their experiences different: - Monique has been in the industry longer than Adrienne (all the way back to the 90s) -Monique was in the industry as a PLUS-SIZED woman, and a Darkerskined BLACK woman -Monique has been around more high level actors and producers than Adrienne. Her experience in the industry is more than Adrienne's all together. Although age is *not always* a factor, this is not the first time Adrienne has said things that come off as ignorant and naïve.. Even Loni has had to check her a few times. Nevertheless, like they said, this is the Real and they allow guest to come and have thoughtful discussions when there are past disagreements. That's life. Adrienne is a grown woman with her own opinions. She doesn’t have to be “a baby who doesn’t know better” just because she was being honest from her own point of view. Just because you’re old doesn’t mean you’re right
@MsYaYa375 жыл бұрын
Armenda Yulia Kotnosovik completely agree. Her opinion doesn’t have to be misguided just because it doesn’t agree with yours. They were discussing the clip and she said what she thought about the clip
@SugarnSpice22895 жыл бұрын
I totally agree! Monique was wrong for diminishing Adrienne's opinion. Of course you can call out someone old or young and ask, could this been handled better. So what she trying to say cuz u you older you get a pass on doing crap? Uh no. Being "grown" also calls for self awareness which is part of maturity. What Monique needed to do was take note of that and respect Adrienne opinions. She could of still disagreed more respectfully not tear her down calling her a baby. Be humble!
@raidersfanallday5 жыл бұрын
Agree. People act like oh just because you’ve been through more or had a tougher life and you’re older means you’re automatically right and shouldn’t diminish someone else’s option. That’s not how it works.

Monique simply said, don’t speak on what I did unless you’ve been in my shoe. Some of you seem too focused on the word “baby”. In this context she’s saying I’ve lived longer and experienced more and Adrienne still has years and years to experience. If anything Monique was being understanding to why Adrienne made those comments instead of lashing at her.
@sophieeel44784 жыл бұрын
nah adrienne still has had experiences doesn't make it any less meaningful than moniques
@arrowsathome4 жыл бұрын
Sugar Kiss exactly. And Being a plus sized brown skinned woman from Baltimore in this industry is COMPLETELY different than being a petite Latina. On top of the age thing. Adrienne will never understand what Monique has had to go through.
@seirrasky35814 жыл бұрын
Sugar Kiss But everyone goes through different trials and tribulations at different ages. If you don’t understand that then you haven’t seen enough of the world and you haven’t walked in anyone else’s shoes. Monique doesn’t know what Adrienne has experienced, any faults or traumas so she has no right to speak on that. In fact, it was disrespectful to her growth as an adult by dismissing her. And Adrienne’s comments were very valid. Monique didn’t have a valid argument so she took the condescending route.
@mckenzie.86533 жыл бұрын
But there are young men and women around the world who've lived thru and survived things impossible for any age to imagine. Age might give you experience but it doesn't always make you wise... or humble.
@amethystwolf245723 жыл бұрын
Wait, so Monique makes public comments and gets upset when the public has opinions about them, but its totally ok for her to literally insult Adrienne? There is NO situation that makes it anything less than rude to call a grown person a "baby".
@kaylanxmae5 жыл бұрын
I love and commend Adrienne for how she handled this situation. Older generations tend to feel as if the younger generations can not voice their opinions on something the older generation has done or is doing. Respect is a two way street and it doesn’t matter how old you are if you’re acting out of turn, being extra, being unnecessarily loud, etc; one has the right to call it like it is. I love that this show and the ladies allowed her to come on so they could talk it out, and although I don’t agree with some of the statements I love that a conversation was needed and a conversation was had!
