With ADT Medical Alert Systems (#medicalalertsystem), you can call for help with the touch of a button, making the aid request easy during a super-stressful time. The ADT call center has your information, so they know who’s calling and your medical situation. You can even call ADT for non-emergency help as well. And, with optional fall detection, these ADT devices can call for help even when you can’t.
ADT makes three different medical alert systems that are currently helping more than 75,000 Americans with a variety of needs.
The Medical Alert Basic, which works with telephone landlines, is their least-expensive system to use.
Their other home-based system, the Medical Alert Plus, uses a nationwide cellular network to wirelessly connect the customer to a 24/7 monitoring center.
While their On-The-Go system works anywhere there's cell service.
As an ADT customer, all the equipment you need is free. Once you start service, your rate is guaranteed not to increase. And you don’t need to sign a long-term contract that will make you keep paying when you want to stop! In this video, you'll see actual demonstrations of how this high-quality equipment from an American icon can protect you… or a loved one.

I had ADT for over 6 years. Paid for 6 years. The alarm never worked, when it did ADT was supposed to call me, never called nor reported the break ins. Waste of money. You do have to still pay for several months after you've canceled your account. Buyer beware! They do not call when battery is going out. When you push the button for medical alert you get a brief recording then they hang up. They don'tcall anyone. The pendant button was supposed to work up to a 1,000 feet, you said 600 ft., Not! Didn't work. They will not refund your money.

WOW!!! I've been a customer of theirs since the late 90's, and I've never had a problem with them. Anytime my alarm ever went off, I barely made it to the keypad to turn it off before my phone started ringing! I was diagnosed with aFib with RVR a few years ago, and signed up for their ADT Health Mobile System. I also added the fall detection as well. About 6 months ago, I was home alone and my heart went into a dangerous arrhythmia and I immediately passed out and fell. My system was triggered and immediately alerted ADT. They couldn't communicate with me and all they heard was my Pug frantically barking so they called paramedics. All my doctors said if it hadn't been for ADT intervening when they did, I would've surely went into cardiac arrest and died. I've heard horror stories like yours before, and I'm truly sorry that happened to you. But in my situation, when seconds counted, I could count on ADT.

System took too long for them to answer. Time is precious if someone falls or has a stroke or heart attack. Based on that real world demo on time to connect with an operator its a hard pass for my family.
