Thanks so much, I'm starting to think this might need to be a yearly event for me.🙈 I definitely have a much better idea now of what type of books I will colour, and which ones I admire, but probably wont colour. I have stopped myself buying quite a lot this year, as I just don't think I'll touch them. I think the JB books were the hardest to let go, as its a collection, and I feel bad about breaking them up, but I know I'd never colour them. Thanks so much for your thoughtful words, xxx

Hiya, yes I knew not everyone would agree, but I know more about my tastes, and these just are never selected, so it was time. I normally like Kerby's books, but the lifelike animals, just didn't appeal to me to colour, I think its beautiful, but I don't enjoy colouring loads of fur, and stuff, so better for it to go somewhere better. Hi Triinu, Yes I have the creativity book, but sadly I haven't used it much, ( I think it might be at school, now I think about it) I think I prefer Johanna's later books, they suit my style more, World of Flowers I like the most I think, its a lovely relaxing book. I only have one Emanuelle Colins book, its beautiful, but I've been a bit nervous of working in it. I have put it in my June colouring plans, as I want to try to use it, 🫰 Thanks so much, x💗

Lol! I'd actually filmed this ages ago, but have never released it, all your organising videos reminded me about it. Rebels! 🤣 I was expecting some people would think me crazy letting JB books go, but I know they aren't for me, and the odd colour they have gone has put me off more. I've actually started a second Unhaul pile, of stuff I'm considering letting go, Like you were, my shelves are very full, so choices have to be made., I'm still going to buy new stuff, so room has to be made. @@ArtJourneyUK Oh yes, totally agree, I don't buy so much Amazon print anymore, RJ Hampson is the exception really, as I enjoy his drawings so much. I think I'm on a ban with kameliya Angelkova as well, I rarely colour them, even though I like them. Ive just bought one ( In my next haul) but that's it I think, Ive too many uncoloured ones from her. I think I have about 5, but I'm thinking that's enough. Japanese books, Hmm they are more of a problem, they are just too cute! ;-)

Yes, I know I've committed a colourist crime!🤣 I do like some of it, but I've had these books years, and I never touch them, so I think its better they go to someone that will colour them. I've kept some of the the newer ones, that I know I will colour. x 💗

Thanks Pixie, although you know me, as quick as I've made some space, I've filled it!🤣 I'm pleased to have lost this selection, they aren't for me, and I've known it for a while, its just the collector in me stops me letting go. I filmed this ages ago, I've actually started another unhaul pile, I'm just living with the pile, to see if I can let the second lot go. My shelves are sadly pretty full, and hard choices have to be made. Its either a whole load of scrapbook paper, or more books that have to go next! 🥲 The obvious answer is to stop buying, but well, thats not going to happen!🤣

I think I'm just a bit spoilt for choice, I don't regret losing the books here, but I did find breaking up the collection of them a bit harder. Ive kept Ivy/ and World of flowers from the older stuff. I'm glad they have gone to good home, Trudy's already worked in them, so I'm happy they are getting used. I probably need to do this every year really as I buy so many each year. Thanks , x 👍❤️

I've still got loads of uncoloured books, most of which will be staying, but this pile, I just don't feel I'll miss, and my shelves are so full, so somethings got to give. Oooh the leaves are what put me off the most!🤦🏻‍♀️ there are just so many in some of these, I just can't face them. I think World of flowers is still my favourite of hers, I'll never part with that. I didn't get Mythical world, and I'm almost wishing I didn't get the Alien one, not sure I'm going to colour it. I kind of felt as it was his last book, I should get it, but it's not calling to me yet. I think I like Worlds within Worlds best of all this books, that again, is a keeper for me. It's hard finding books, that you really want to colour, I'm finding more and more, I like the drawings, but will I colour them? I recorded this video quite a while ago, and I almost feel like I need to remove some more from the shelves! Might be a part two of this coming over summer!😉

Oh yes I totally agree, I do admire her work, and there are pages in these that I can see I could have coloured, but other books just excite me more, and as I have so many, these just never get chosen. Better to make room I think. I love Hanna's but its is a certain look so I do get it. 👍

I'm a bit disappointed about the odd colour change, I'm guessing it's not acid free paper, and so it isn't taking long to have a reaction. I think I've had them perhaps three years, and they shouldn't be changing colour so quickly. If I really loved them, and had coloured them loads, I'd be more annoyed, but as I've hardly touched, it's ok. ( I think a couple were B&M buys so they were cheap) Kids at school won't mind, they will probably have all the papers taken out, so more of them can use them. 👍

Hiya, I'm a teacher, so I've already taken most of them to school. They will either be reference books for drawing, ( The Tattoo ones) or the others will be after school/lunch time stuff for kids to do. 👍 Nothing wasted here!😉
