March 19th, 2021 Stage IIIA Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (Non-Smoking)
February 2022 Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (spreading to Brain, and other parts of lung and lymph nodes)
Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS: Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Chemotherapy
10 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
6 with Carboplatin, 4 without
Targeted Brain Radiation (Completed)
CURRENT TREATMENT:
I am on a clinical trial for my specific gene mutation

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my
family.

saddens me to see these old videos , knowing Jenny is no longer here on earth. What an incredible family. So much love and Flower kissing up on Kyle. Kyle and Flower flaked out lol Wonderful Easter celebrations. Yes, Flower defieately wanted to participate🤣 Never knew this wonderful Jenny, but seeing her enough on youtube, I feel like I do know her and, like everyone else, so saddened by her loss. I'm so glad she isn't suffering anymore.And she gave Kyle 2 amazing babies...look how sweet they are Kyle and the kids will get a lot of support. not only from family, but their KZfaq family too. Jenny, I just got the chance to see this video. I just have to comment on how beautiful you are; inside and out of course but I must specifically say when you’re standing near your front door in your lovely Easter dress I teared up because you’re so beautiful. You’re kindness and gentleness throws your beauty over the top. You and Kyle are so blessed to have each other. Goodness all four of you are just such lovely people. Lord bless you all.❤

I recently heard that you can rejoice in all you shared rather than grieving for your losses... easier said than done... especially in the case of beautiful Jenny❤️🩹 Kyle, there are many who search a lifetime for the soul connection you & Jenny shared in your 10 yrs and she lives on in your special gifts to each other named Ellis + Winnie💞 You'll be together again for eternity🫶🌹🫶

While having someone leave at such a young age is tough, one thing this generation has that no other generation has had is this ability to create videos to watch and hear their loved ones again. I wish I could remember what my grandparents sounded like more. I have vivid memories, but there's something about being able to watch a video and hear that voice again that is so special. I hope it brings warmth to the hearts of Jenny's family.

I thought the same thing!! She truly believed when she said it that she would be here. Then Kyle said "next year" a little while later also believing she would be here. Breaks my heart!!

Jenny was So Strong and she truly did her very best to keep a smile on her face for her family!! Kyle…. we’ll they just don’t make them like Kyle anymore! I’ve never seen a man be so gentle and completely there for his wife like Kyle is for Jenny! He has been totally Devoted to Jenny even when I Know it had to be so difficult for him. This couple are a shining example for everyone to be like. Especially when there is a life changing illness or situation that you never expected to happen. 🙏🏻❤️❤️💙💙

I don't have alot of money right now but i have been watching alot of your videos to help yourube pay you more. Im currently recovering from a wreck and surgery so i have alot of time to just sit and binge watch the appleford family...lol.. ive noticed that in just one day, jenny apples channel has over one million views in just 24 hours so its safe to say im not the only one with this idea. Plus, this is better than t.v. anyway. More wholesome

These videos are a great memory for her children so they can watch when they are adults how their mother was . What she looked like . Not everyone who has lost someone has had the fortune of having that person on video . When Jenny’s kids get kids or their own , they can show them How their grandmother was . What a kind person she was . And that she loved her children with everyone she got . And Kyle I can’t believe she’s gone , one minute she’s breathing the next she’s just gone . It’s not fair

It was so much fun being part of your Easter. I enjoyed it so much. I hope Ellis it's definitely over his illness. I could tell he wasn't himself. I don't have children anymore so watching the Easter egg hunts took me back in time, I loved watching the kids have so much fun finding the eggs. Good luck with your upcoming appointments.

Jenny you are the strongest most positive human being. You are doing the most astounding form of a memorabilia for your beautiful children & family. If only EVERYONE could have this to look onto for ever. I just lost my sister a month ago (I as well lost both My parents & 2 brothers many years ago.) & if only I had something as amazingly beautiful to go back & watch. To see & hear their voices again & see how beautiful they had been , would mean so much to me. You are so positive, I believe that makes a world of difference 🥰. I am in no way saying you are not going to kick cancer butt , I just think this should be something we all leave behind 💚!! You are always in my prayers. Also as for thoracentesis video I just watched , asking for no negativity! Again you are such an inspiration & breath of fresh air. You did what was best for you. I personally think weather you had been medicated for the procedure you still would have had after effect pain!! I would wish to be 1/2 the woman you are. God Bless you & your family. Keep up this fight. Cancer sucks.

I know this sounds completely ridiculous, but I'm in Scotland and we always put a cold teabag on the eye 2 or 3 times a day (black tea leaves) and it gets rid of styes etc in no time. It's always my go to 😊 Ps boil the tea first and make yourself a nice cuppa to enjoy with a cupcake 🙂

Doesn't sound ridiculous to me. When I was a kid my cat had a swollen shut crusty eye and the vet recommended putting a cold teabag on it several times a day. Ever since that I use a tea bag for my own eyes for itchiness or styes or redness.

I just have to say that Winnie is probably the sweetest & most adorable girl ever, as well as a brilliant egg hider! You’re doing such a wonderful job raising both her and Ellis. They’re truly blessed to have parents like you & Kyle.💞 As for the doggos, I grew up with yellow labs & they always loved egg hunts too! So we’d hide eggs around the house with dog treats in them & they couldn’t get enough. I’m sure the kids would enjoy both hiding the eggs & watching to see the dogs hunt for them. I know I did long after the Easter Bunny came to see me anymore.

Jenny will always be with you and your children it’s in a different way than before she’s still with all of us who loved and will continue to love her forever Jenny lives on in everything and every one she touched with her beauty she wasn’t fighting C for only herself she was fighting for others who have it and those that will be diagnosed in the future!!!!!! Love to you. I lost my 14 yo pug Otis last summer. Pugs and Labs are my two favorite dogs. I hope to get a Lab next. I think you should get a pug! Pugs are very sweet. 💜

I have spent the most lovely Easter’s in Poland. The children have baskets with an egg , bread and salt more traditional things than chocolate eggs

@@98849 True! The little basket is of great importance in the Catholic tradition. It is a symbol of the Resurrection and Life, salvation that is accomplished through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Each item put in the basket such as bread, salt, egg, ham, cake...has a particular meaning.

As I watched this video for the first time, I found myself smiling. I am grieving the loss is sweet Jenny and especially knowing this was her last Easter here. I bet Easter in Heaven will be amazing. I LOVED Jenny’s Excitement as much as I did the children. Lol. Maybe even more. This is such a sweet video. My sadness for Jenny passing away is so palpable. Kyle, Ellis and Winnie I want you to know that Your wife and mommy will see you again. I love you all. Jenny looked Beautiful for Easter and so did the rest of you. Im so so sad and angry that your family has to deal w this. May winnie and Ellis look back on these videos for the rest of their lives. Hi, I love you guys so much. I just subscribed 😅. I keep checking KZfaq for more videos. I never used to go on KZfaq at all until recently, when I wanted to follow a court trial. I have since become addicted to watching you guys. Happy Easter. I love the matching dresses and how you've managed to get out and about. I want you to continue to fight and not ever give up. I'm so sorry you have lung cancer. I know it doesn't make sense, as bad things happen to good people. As hard as it is, I'm of the understanding that happiness fights cancer. Try not to think about the future. Just live for now. I watched a video yesterday about a guy who fasted for 21 days, then went on a special diet. He had 3 courses of chemo, and the cancer in his bowel disappeared. I think he's written a book on it. You're doing an amazing job at raising your children whilst battling to save your life. I'm going to pray that you can get through this and the clinical trial that you've chosen to fight this does its job. How about writing a book about your journey! Keep the videos coming. I have my health problems too, and whilst posting your videos, as well as it helps you, you too are helping your viewers. Keep up the good work. Looks like a wonderful day! Love seeing the magic of the holidays through the children's eyes, and reminded of all the hard work to make that magic happen. Oh yay! I feel like I got to have Easter, just watching this! You guys were so much fun. I do not know HOW you both stayed awake for it all! That was seriously an Epic Easter! I loved it and I can see the kids loved it, as did everyone else. Even Flower! So cute. OK. I'm on cuteness overload from all of you now, and that is with zero chocolate in my system (at this moment! I loved your Easter video. I was worried when you said adults only 😢😊. We had a hunt for a few of our grands. I never thought of separate colors for the kids. I like that idea. 🐣🐇. As kids we would hide our eggs over and over after the hunt. Great memories. Hoping Ellis feels better soon. ❤

Thank you for letting me be a part of Winnie and Ellis’s Easter. I used to love being the Easter Bunny for my children. Everyone is all grown up and we don’t live close enough to the children who have little ones now so thank you….I miss fun holidays. One year my older daughter used a bunny foot template and mad babypowder bunny footprints going up an down our stairs and our three little girls just LOVED following the bunny footprints.

I have come across to your channel. You are all such a beautiful and caring family. Life isn’t fair. I’m sorry for everything that you are going through. My beautiful Mum has been told that she has colon and Liver cancer. Love her she has already had cancer of the womb, so she had a full hysterectomy and then she had cancer cells in her breast. They took them away by a vacuum. At the moment she is having chemo. The first cycle she couldn’t stop being sick.So she went today for chemo and they gave her sickness meds through the drip and starting different chemo meds. Fingers crossed she doesn’t get sick again. I will pray for you every night.Please keep safe.🥰❤️🦋🏴

We hide Easter eggs in the house every time my 5 yr old grandson visits. It’s Tuesday & I just found the missing one. I’ll leave it there until he comes back.
