@@rehabhqofficial Thank you. I think both methods are important for me as a quadriplegic. :-) I have bad control and weakness. On the beginning I couldn't train quality of movement when I was too weak for it. Stalin told during IIWW about easy tanks T-34 compared with modern German tanks that quantity goes into quality. That's mean in my case that more kilograms better movement. Of course the best way than control and strength go together. ;-) Your videos are amazing. Good luck from Poland!

I'm definitely at this stage. This is extremely helpful. I had a stroke in September of 19 so less than a year. Walking 3.5 miles a day... I'm trying to get back to backpacking at some point. Walking is hard and has just now started to be enjoyable. I've quit all PT locally because they didn't share my vision. I did find a chiropractor that has been a huge help. He includes balance exercises with adjustments. I'm not sure I understand the role of the adjustments. What are your thoughts on Chiropractor adjustments for stroke rehab?
@rehabhqofficial
@rehabhqofficial 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I am so glad they are help. :) Every chiropractor is different. And they have a wide range of beliefs. I would say do some research. If it is an effective treatment, you should be able to find some articles on this. Second, is it working? Meaning, do you see the results he/she is claiming? That is always good litmus test :) I hope that helps?

generally speaking, if someone is using an AFO, the foot/ankle will not be ready for this level without or without the AFO. Remember, it is not always about progressing to the next level as much as it is of retraining your brain correct movement patterns. You do not want to sacrifice quality just to get to the next level.
