Thank you so much¡ I got a question about the sentence "Crime has dropped marginally since the new police..." Why if marginally is an adverb of degree, it isn't before the verb?

While adverbs of degree normally go before the main verb, they can sometimes come after it in order to to emphasize the degree of the action.
