There's something in me that dislikes people telling me "play these notes" without telling me what the chords are and what is going on musically. How will we grow as musicians if all we do is memorize random chords rather than understand the thoughts behind what the best guys are doing.

If anyone wants to know the chords in the beginning, between 0:25 and 2:06 they are minor 11th chords. first chord is G Bb D F A C G - Root Bb - minor 3rd D - perfect 5th F - minor 7th A - 9th C - 11th - no need to sharp this because it is a minor 11th chord. He voiced it like this LH - G for the root RH - A Bb C D F transpose for all minor keys and make that nugget of info yours. Thanks again wheat works pro

I have this DVD and it helps tremendously...but you can't just buy and watch...you have to study, practice, return to it, listen, study, practice and repeat these steps again...a must have for the lead keyboard player or church pianist!
