Thank you for making SolidWorks surfacing tutorials. I've noticed a lack of SW surfacing tutorials online for product design, so your videos are very helpful for those of us trying to self teach.

Thanks for your awesome surfacing tutorials! As an industrial designer, these have been extremely helpful. I love how you plan each design out and communicate everything. The speed of each lesson is excellent as well. There's always something to learn in each one and it's making my hybrid modeling skills get better and better! Thank you and I look forward to more!!!

Absolute fantastic explained - i come from Rhino3d which is cool for prototyping, but your tutorial really wants me to switch to SolidWorks ... hell, you are a great teacher! Can you maybe make a playlist for Beginners in SW, so that it's maybe easier to learn it in the right way, you think we should watch it?
@3D-World

I appreciate your comment. Thanks a lot, and I am glad that tutorial is helpful. I really want to create that beginner tutorial taking someone from zero to bring a substantial level of proficiency with SolidWorks. In fact, I would do it these days, but I got sick and could not record videos because my voice was completely gone. I think I will release it somewhere mid summer. Lastly , humble advice from me; pick a video, firstly just watch it, understand each step, and after watch and simultaneously build model. ( If you do it this way, 8-10 videos, you will learn a lot about the fundamentals of SolidWorks) Regards
@SpicedFuture

@@3D-WorldI really wish you the best and to find your voice back. Thanks for your advice - i will follow it exactly - because you really know what you are doing, that i saw 100%. But maybe you can make out of your videos you already made, also a playlist and sort the videos you already made into beginner ... advanced ... pro, like you do it in the videotitles sometimes already. This is done very fast and without any knowledge. It will help your channel to get found from more people too! Really wish you the best for your health.

Nice explanation learned a lot today I wanna ask why at last you not used fill pattern or another way like selecting whole thing rather than individually patterning?

Maybe I wanted to have more control on the pattern; or it might be possible with the heat of the moment I forgot (fill pattern) :)

Those guys modeling my tutorials, and sharing on Linkedln or different platforms proudly without mentioning my name. So adding watermark or background will not help 😉 sharing and being proud about your work is totally fine, but some appreciation makes me happier. Because I am not earning money from this chanell, if I work every month 2-3 hours extra at work I will make more money than here youtube pays me.

Great video! Thank you for this one!!! Please can you clarify some questions for me? It's hard for me to create fillet 24:40... What can you advise me in this case?
@gergardklassen
@gergardklassen 4 ай бұрын
SolidWorks offered me to use "face fillet"... And after that I got there. I got what I needed (that nice 1 mm fillet), however why did it happen? There was "rebuild errors, failed to create fillet. Check input geometry and radius values or try using "face fillet" option"... Have you faced such problems?
@3D-World
@3D-World 4 ай бұрын
Hi, Thanks for your comment. Have you tried different options of fillet, did you model it according to the given dimensions.
@gergardklassen
@gergardklassen 4 ай бұрын
@@3D-World Hello! Yes, I have, but it didn't help... Since it didn't work because of dimensions. While I did it, I thought that didn't depend on dimensions, and so I could make a tube a little longer... However, I couldn't. I've tried again, according only offered dimensions, and I have done it. I completed the tutorial! Thank you for your videos, I guess I'll take at least a couple of them a bit later!

Solidworks says the two surfaces have g3 continuity (built with g3 spline curves). But in surface evaluation, zebra shows a non-continuous surface. Why could this be?
