Thank you for this, its really a good video ! :) , one quick question is when unchecking the synch filters change to other slicers, is there a way such that the selection in country filter one doesn't appear in the second filter. i.e you have selected albania, which then appears in the second filter , despite limiting it to a select few geographies in the second filter. Thanks!

Hi Helpful video. I have added 2 attributes(Year and Month) in both slicer. It will look like hierarchy in slicer. But, advanced sync is not working in this situation. Could you please suggest a solution

Great question. If you have this slicer on multiple pages and you'd want to change the field (column) used in the slicer, then "sync field changes" would be useful". Similarly if you wanted to remove (blank) from the slicer selection on 5 slicers synced on each page, then the "sync filter changes" would accomplish that.

Have you noticed on the September Power BI update, they have removed the "Sync filter changes to other slicers" function. Do you know a work around this? Thanks!

What is the group name? How are they both in the same group?

The group name is whatever you want to name it. I chose Geo because both fields are related to geography

What if I have two different data sources but both with column Country, is there a way to sync slicers?

Hi there, you’d want to add a geography dimension table, and add a relationship between both of them to it. Then using a field from your dimension geography table would filter both of those data sources.
