I explored Lahore's culture and heritage by entering through the Delhi Gate. The city's diverse past was reflected in its architecture and traditions, which I experienced while wandering through the bustling streets. My aim was to find fulfill a special promise I made to my viewers.. I left with a deeper appreciation for its culture and a desire to return and explore more.

Baalwala ji , again a very splendid description of Hindu Jain haveli and temple. Through your description, we reach in Lahore itself. My grand mother had relatives in Lahore. Even , my Mausaji ( Khaalu ) was from Lahore itself. He used to remember his old golden days of Lahore and was usually in tears and not able to speak thereafter. Keep strengthening the ties. I am very much hopeful that someday we would freely move from here to there and from there to here. A big salute again to Mir saab. May God give you long life and strength for doing the good work. Hamari dua hamesha aapke saath hain. Kanpur se aapka ek aur chahnewaala..........

Jainism is a separate religion like Hinduism. Two major sects of Jainism are Shwetabar & Digambar. Other sects are Deravasi who believe in temple & idol worship and Shanakvasi who do not worship idols in temples but hear religious lectures in Sthanak (place/hall). The hall in your video is such hall of Sthanakvasi Jains.

Jainism is NOT a part of Hinduism. I am a Shwetambar Sthanakwasi Jain with roots in Lahore. My family migrated from Lahore in 1947. Thank you for sharing this video. I wonder how many of my elders got married here in this Janjghar.

Right after you enter these buildings i feel so emotional and nostalgic for some reason even if i never saw these buildings before but they were somebodies home once upon a time. This sadhu home is so gorgeous the glass tiled dome is just beautiful. The diversity in androon lahore is so immense
