I'm really surprised that rides like Fireball and Time Traveller haven't been re-created by manufacturers. The fact that this is the only park with these rides really makes it underrated.

OMG, I used to love this park as my stepdad's parents lived near there and we used to stay at the Park Inn just across the road from the park and when we used to have breakfast in the hotel, I always got there early to get a window seat and watch the rides being tested! My fav ride is Rage - what's everyone else's?

Southend On Sea is in the top 3 of uk attractions on trip advisor. Adventure island is an awesome seaside theme park.... Shawn? I like your idea about the park expanding nearer to the beach. It’s barely recognisable with the transformation since 2017. Thank you for using your Go pro for virtual POV onride footage for majority of the rides also throughout the entire park, I miss going there especially along the beach too I have loads of happy childhood fond memories. Adventure island has some of the best rides ever!

STORY TIME: When I went on time machine the g force was so forceful it messed my head up so I’m never going on it again

I really like this park. I have never been on time machine but I will sure give it a ride when I next visit the park. I also walked down the pier but I walked back.

Time machine is my idea of hell! 🤣

I went here yesterday, specifically to ride rage, but ended up preferring Green Scream. (Seem to be becoming a Zierer fan - weird) Shaun, if you love Time Machine, you have a stronger stomach than me. I swear: they train astronauts on less intense rides. Great park, great staff, great vid, thanks!

I did time machine once and it made me feel super sick! That's probably why axis is my favourite ride on park!

Adventure Island is definitely a great little Park which packs lots in. Love Rage and Adventure Ville.

The last time I visited was in October 2017, so I'm really looking forward to visiting later this month. This park is so underrated and I'm honestly really looking forward to riding axis for the first time! As for Time machine, I'm really happy you did this pov because if I went on it IRL I reckon I'd probably vomit 🤮😂.

I go to adventure island every year with my sisters, It's a great park I recommend going here with family! 2 Years in a row, Going again on July 9! I love it here, Honestly best park ever. Staff are amazing and the great memories you can create.

I still want to try and make my way down here at some point in the future! Looks like a really fun Park.

the american whip and helter skelter are the oldest rides in park and been there since 20's i watched this park as a kid being born in 1976 and living down road used to visit it regualary used to be called peter pans play area miss this place but do love the go karts

I haven't been to Adventure Island since the Rage first opened! I was reminiscing when I came across this video. I recognise so much! The crocodile ride was my favourite, the turtle ride terrified me. I heard the water log ride was closed?! Such fun memories, love your video! Thank you so much!

I have a soft spot for Rage as my first inverting roller coaster. I didn't enjoy it much at the time, but now that I've learnt to love coasters, maybe it's worth revisiting.

Grew up going to Southend for the airshow & adventure island until I moved up north 16 year ago it’s changed so much half of the rides are new. Blackpool is now my local theme park and the kids love it 😊

The reason the dodgems and go-karts are upcharged is because Adventure Island doesn't own them, they're rented out from another company. Would be really cool to see them get replaced with two smaller coasters, or a wooden coaster.

Great park, going back in october coz I got the anual pass. Bit pricey with stuff like food but it's worth it for such a fun park.

I have been on every thing accept rage and axis STORY TIME: When I was on dragon claw someone had a spanner in there pocket (for some reason) it fell out there pocket no one new my mum was screaming stop the ride when she told me that happened when I was on it I crapped my self

I just subed to u and if been going southend since I was 3 and I'm going again soon with my brother and I'm so exited I loved the vid! I even liked it😄 I hope u have an amazing future ashes of u!!

Axis fun fact - it's a 90 second program and if there a less riders you get more chances to go upside down and with less hang time. I've found it ride better when almost empty.

axis looks like the same model as Tayto Park. They turned off the inversion cycle there because nobody was going on it. Now it's just an extremely tame version of something like Loke :(
