I have schizophrenia and I want to sing this to my sister because every time I get hospitalized after psychosis it’s very traumatic for her and I feel terrible...

The exact cause of schizophrenia isn't known, but a combination of genetics, environment, and altered brain chemistry and structure may play a role. Schizophrenia is characterized by thoughts or experiences that seem out of touch with reality, disorganized speech or behavior, and decreased participation in daily activities. Difficulty with concentration and memory may also be present. Treatment is usually lifelong and often involves a combination of medications, psychotherapy, and coordinated specialty care services.

what helped me was to focus on one hand at a time. i started with learning the notes on my right hand first. once i got familiar with the notes i switched to learning the left hand. then i slowly started to play them together. I also had the video playing on my laptop as i played along. if i got a part wrong i would restart the song until i got it right.
