The first attempt for a sea trial had to be put on hold after our 341 Meridian, damaged by Hurricane Ian, had a leaky fuel pump. We finished the repairs and are back at it again for another go at a sea trail through the canals for southwest Florida’s Cape Coral. A month after the Hurricane, derelict boats are still being recovered and towed to safe harbors. Keeping our fingers crossed that the boat holds it together and doesn’t shake apart from bent rudders, shafts and propellers.
