Welcome to state #42 on our journey to all 50 states in 2021… Vermont! For our time in the Green Mountain State, we spent one day exploring the Stowe/Burlington area! It’s no secret that Vermont in the fall is an absolute dream, and it was no different for us. From a beautiful morning sipping cider and eating apple cider doughnuts at Cold Hollow Cider Mill to strolling up and down the quaint Main Street of Stowe to watching a stunning sunset over Lake Champlain while enjoying a hometown favorite, Ben & Jerry’s, we couldn’t have asked for a better time in this beautiful state!

I live on Lake Dunmore in Vermont, it is very beautiful. I have been in VT for 25 years, I am a Mass. native. This state has become way to liberal for me, I am trying to head near you in the Greeneville, Jonesborough area. Smokey Mountains here we come!!!

I currently live in Vermont and was wondering when this video was coming out! Yes, it is beautiful here and yes, the covered bridges do yield tons of spiders😳. If you guys ever come back, travel just about two hours south to Brattleboro, where I live. It’s a cute little town as well. Hope y’all had fun!

Love Vermont!! So picturesque! Been to Ben and Jerry's and stayed in a haunted B&B just down the road! Lived across Lake Champlaine in Plattsburgh, NY when we were still in the military. Beautiful area. Thanks for the memories!

My wife and I had a fall wedding, so we had our honeymoon in Vermont, in a cabin outside of Barnet, which is near St. Johnsbury in the Northeast Kingdom. This is a less-populated area, even for Vermont, but in truth the entire state should be declared a National Quaintness Preserve. I do not think the towns around there had changed in 200 years.

Better late than never - heading to Vermont the 1st week in October (when were all there?) - This really is getting me excited - I've been to EVERY state in the lower 48 except the New England States (I'm 70) - so better late than never!! Enjoy your trek!! It's so worth it!! USA is beautiful!! If you want suggestions when you come to Ohio - let me know!! Plan on also going to Mass (Boston - watched your latest on that!!) --- Oh and by the way -- the movie that is from is: OLIVER!! (Two of my favorite songs from that movie are: As Long as He Needs Me and Where is Love? !!! I still have the original movie book that I put in the soundtrack album I bought!! Told ya, I'm 70!!! LOL

The classic New England architecture with the autumn colors and of course the old bridges. We even did the Cafe du Monde/Cafe Beignet comparison and we are on team Cafe Beignet!! Wish you guys were here with us enjoying this adventure too. Love Vermont never been to Stowe but we have been to Burlington love Lake Champlaine we did a boat ride at night. We also went to Ben and Gerrys the apple cider is awesome along with the donuts. Those maple candy is really sweet.Oliver Twist was the movie I believe. Great video editing was awesome also.

I don’t drink coffee either but Jordan and Kaylee from The Nomadic Movement are opening a coffee shop in Stowe on October 1 2022. You guys should head back there and check it out when it opens. Matt you always find the best looking rueben sandwiches while you’re out on adventure. I wish we had some good ones here. Idle time is great, if you ever make it back I’d say check out the bench and the Matterhorn for Stowe (Stowe cider is great, so is the alchemist) little town by B&J has a place called the reservoir with LOTS of amazing beverage options. Burlington is a little over rated, I’d say travel down the east side of the state and check out Woodstock vt, Brattleboro is awesome, killington is beautiful, you could spend weeks here and still not see all of its beauty

Since we have other jobs and are only able to travel 3-4 (maybe 5) days for most of our trips, logistics play a large part in our planning. In order to hit all 50 States in a Year, we had to be very strategic and visit 2-4 states on most of our trips. For this trip, we coupled VT, NH & ME together… fortunately, the cities we visited in each of these states has activities that were on our bucket list, so it worked out! Lol… we always try to find the balance of logistical decision making and destinations/activities we want to visit/people want to watch… if that makes sense! Thanks again for watching! ❤️ - Nat

I'm impressed you guys got clearance from the FAA to fly a drone within 5-7 miles of the Burlington International Airport, given your footage from Church Street and surrounding areas. Like class B airports, class C and D airports have the FAA's grid blocks in a 5-7 mile radius around them. This means that you have to get FAA authorization to operate within the airspace through LAANC, or manually via the FAA Drone Zone online. But good on you guys to do all the paperwork to do it legally!

I would've loved to use my own footage but I just didn't have time to take the drone up that day. Maybe next time!

What the tourists see versus the Reality. Sorry, but you should spend your tourist dollars elsewhere. I was a tourist who fell so in love that I stayed- and my family and I regret it. Overpriced, inbred, unkind- laugh behind your back once they get your money. The mountains are pretty, but there are mountains in other places.
