Responding to pleas for help from in search of Michael Lloyd Reese, who never returned from a trip to the reservoir in 1985, along with his friend, David Jaramillo, AWP teams up with Profiling Evil and Diesel Brothers in hopes of solving this 35-year-old missing person's cold case from 1985.
=========
Thank you to Mike King for working with law enforcement and getting us federal permits to search inside the dam where found a vehicle along with the incredible support from the Diesel Brothers for supplying multiple boats and tow equipment.
So many supporters like Juan and his family with their boat, Thunder (Lloyd's Sister), Sarah for bringing this case to our attention (sarahksolves@gmail.com), DNR, Morgon County Sheriff's Office, Matt, and Andrew Moss, and a ton more I've forgotten along with all the viewers and supporters who came out in support of.
=========
Details of Disappearance
Lloyd was last seen on June 3, 1985. He disappeared with an older friend, David Jaramillo. They left Lloyd's home in the 100 block of east 1700 South with two other friends and went to East Canyon Reservoir to go boating.
At some point during the day, David and Lloyd became separated from their companions and disappeared. Neither of them has been heard from again. They were last seen driving a brown Datsun B210.
Authorities stated they had little evidence in David and Lloyd's disappearance and aren't sure if they met with an accident or foul play. Both of their families still live in the Salt Lake City area. Their cases remain unsolved. The friends they were with that day aren't considered suspects in their cases.
Lloyd was popular in his neighborhood in 1985 and had a wide variety of friends. He enjoyed listening to the music of Ted Nugent and the bands Aerosmith and AC/DC. He graduated from Glendale Middle School just before his disappearance and dreamed of becoming a doctor when he grew up.
=========
We wish we could solve them all and help every family find the answers they're looking for.
Hug the ones you love and reach out to those in need.
We are humbled by the opportunity all of you have given us to help these two families in the search for answers as to what happened to 35-years-ago.
The AWP Movement would not be possible without your support, helping us travel the US offering our services for FREE to families searching for their lost loved ones... Thank you!

Thank you everyone. It was very emotional for me after we pulled that car out and it not being my brother. I cried for two days after. But like I said I'm not done until he is home. 36 years and counting. I have been told many times that I should not let it consume my life anymore that I have done all I can. But no I have not. I need to keep going cause I know he would for me. Thanks Sarah for all your help. If it wasn't for you sending this to these guys. I'd still be searching alone. Now I have all of you wonderful ppl helping me. I don't feel alone anymore.

I don't know if you guys would ever consider coming to Canada, I'm sure it's not really feasible. But we have a cold case that is right up your alley. Look up the Lost Boys of Pickering. 5 teenage boys went missing from Lake Ontario in 1995. It's a very sad and mysterious case, and it would be very cool if you guys ever ended up in Canada to look at it. I love what you guys do and wonder if there's anyone in Canada that does what you do? I doubt it.

I would suggest to the missing teens families / for one of those missing teens closed person to contact me then will try to set up time to connect with me and will try to bring the missing person spirit to talk to his closed one in life , I done it , and would locating where is that person . Also would asking to record your part because the spirit will talk to you through my connection..if one found then the others would .. I never done this kind of connection over the phone but in personal , but I would give it a try .. and leave it in God's hands.

I watch these videos regularly and when missing people are found after days, months and years down the line, it is so emotional and even though the families get closure it is heartbreaking to know that their loved one has passed away. Keep up the amazing work that you all do as a team. Love what you do! You are all amazing people working towards an awesome cause. I understand the videos are looking different these days since Dan has moved on, but I feel the “purpose” was a bit lost on this one. The video quality is amazing! However at times it gave me more of a movie feel and less of a personable/I’m right there with you feel. The music was a bit much at times but I do enjoy it in moments where there would otherwise just be silence. The biggest thing for me though is that I had no idea what was happening most of the time. I’ve watched pretty much all your videos and know the process of pulling a car. I also am a diver myself so fully understand safety stops, etc. This was not your typical car recovery though and would’ve loved to have some narration throughout to better understand what really went on. Please don’t take my comments as “bashing” or being rude. I am merely trying to give feedback to help you out. Keep being awesome! I look forward to the next adventure!

As much as I love what you do, and love being a part of it, I agree with many of the comments about the filming change and especially the audio. While music adds much to the drama, hearing the conversation and witnessing the process is SO much more satisfying than being accosted with overbearing music. Even drowning out Sam while he’s talking. Fix the audio, plz

They have been offered that but there is to much control over what they were offered. $95,000.00 per episode which when you split it between a bunch of people is chump change, plus production company wants more involvement with family and loved ones and police, and as we see here a lot of family don't want to be on film neither do the police. More like a made for tv movie that a search and rescue and they have complete control of your life.

No no no, they'd lose control of the production, they'd have to act and redo scenes to get better shots, they'd lose all spontaneity and input. They're much better off staying independent and doing it exactly how they want it. Seeing it on youtube is free but if it got picked up by the likes of Netflix or TLC or even Hollywood, many international viewers would lose out and all those who don't have streaming subscriptions, like me, would never see them. They were offered a show, thankfully saw the pitfalls and declined.

so I am a bit curious about something....what happens in cases where more than the target vehicle are discovered? Are other vehicles ignored? Left in place and reported? Are they investigated at a later date at the discretion of local law enforcement? Just stumbled on these videos and think the volunteer work Adventures with Purpose is doing is amazing
@helmaree
@helmaree 2 жыл бұрын
I'm sure by now you've watched more of their videos, but AWP report all vehicles to local law enforcement, and they are frequently involved in the recovery of many non-target vehicles to help clean up the environment 🥰

Cat Minister - As Helmaree Games already replied with information, AWP and other Dive teams from across the U.S. try to secure a license plate or some identifying information from each car. All the info is given to the local LEO who check if those cars are somehow tied to any other missing person or crime. Then they make a decision on whether to extract the cars or not. There’ve been a few cars that were so old that, trying to tow them out would be worse than leaving them due to the deterioration of those cars. When possible, the AWP team offers to help with extracting the cars. But a lot of times, it’s used as training sessions for the local Firemen and/or police who’ve become divers themselves.

I have been watching Jared since he was diving for treasure/trash & I've been w/Sam since before he started his own KZfaq channel & I admit I have like so many others grown to love these fellas & think so much of them. To listen to Doug say that this is something that no one has ever done ever... got me thinking... when we're old & feral & telling stories to my grands bout AWP & Jared, Sam & Doug it will b like listening to my Granma tell me stories bout Gene Autry or Elvis Presley. 😁 I have grown to love each one of u guys & forever will. Plz Plz I beg of y'all Plz b safe. Couldn't handle something happening to any of u. Sending L💗ve & Prayers to y'all. XOXOXO

Love what you all are doing, amazing work! One thing though...it's easy to ask questions of the survivors. But some questions are more self serving than others. "How did this affect you?" I mean, can't most people guess the response to that without putting her through trauma again? You're doing such amazing work, you don't need to add "puff."
