After several months of testing, a determination was made for Jim to schedule a heart cath. The Original procedure was scheduled for December 29, 2023, the facility canceled the procedure and we had to reschedule for January 26, 2024. The 26th of January was the soonest that the procedure could be performed at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Thank you for taking Jim in. My Dad died at 56 from a heart problems. He had a heart attack a couple years prior, but the blockage wasn't too bad, so they told him to keep having it checked. He didn't! 🤦‍♀️ Then driving the motor home he had another one. This was 38 years ago. Many new improvements in that field. So glad Jim is doing well. Hugs to you both!

Wow, what a scare. Glad you checked with Dr. when you did. Good lord was watching out for you guys. Prayers for complete healing. Jim and I are the same age and I could not keep up with his pace. I have lupus and it is taking a toll on my body. Blessed for still being able to do some things for myself

Listen to the Dr Jim!!!I just got home from a week in the hospital. Last Wednesday 1-31-24, I awoke to chest pains and difficulty breathing, went to the hospital and underwent a load of tests. Finally home with meds and dr appointments. I have to get better for Nascar.

Hello! When we watched Jack in November it convinced Jim to get the stress test. We are so grateful that Jim could be treated with stints, and not open heart surgery like Jack went through. We have reached out to Jack personally and Thanked him for sharing and to let him know about Jim. I would be lost without Jim, he has his follow up appointment tomorrow with the cardiologist. Best wishes , my brother in law had a couple niggly pains on thurs he had 3 stents previously, he had a heart bypass Friday morn.. he is still in ICU caught just in time .. LUCKY he was.. we are getting to that age things break down , speedy recovery, rest up x

In the past 3 years I have suffered 3 heart attacks, 2 strokes and cancer. I am 54 years old. The first heart attack was a silent heart attack. I had no pain or symptoms. They only found out about it because had a stroke and heart scarring. Beth is correct as It is so important to have a stress test done even if you have no symptons. I am happy to hear Jim is on the mend.orry for bad grammar I am still recovering from last stroke and learning to read and write again 😂

Well happy to hear you're doing good. I had a massive heart attack in Aug of 2022 within 4hrs they took me from my house to hospital snd I was in ICU ..scariest thing I every went through. Never ignore symptoms of a heart attack or stroke ( my husband just had a stroke and he went back to bed and when he woke he went to hospital)

In 2005 I had a heart attack just caught before I had a heart attack and had four stents put in and girl I’ve been watching ever since I don’t play games with your heart God bless you’re OK

Prayers 🙏 Jim and Beth I've been through all those test and have had a pacemaker for 13 years. The stress test I have to do laying on a bed with them makes my heart run faster. Neither one is fun but very necessary. Thank God 🙏🏼 you found out and are on the mend. I also have A-fib and they tried to fix it but ended up damaging my heart. But that's something I have to live with now. But at least I am not pushing up daisies either God bless you 🙏🙏🏼 both thanks for sharing 🙏❤️❤️

Hi Carolyn, I thought of you when Jim was scheduled for the heart cath, then that approved him to go on the cruise! So glad nothing happened to him on the ship, now that we know he had an 80% & 99% blockage. We feel very blessed! Continue to take care of yourself!! 💞🤗💝

I have stents inside my groin since 2019 when I had blood clots in my in my lungs and left leg. I will be on blood thinners for the rest of my life.

I know how hard this has been, as Dave passed away from arterial fibulation in 2014. He had a double bypass in 2000,but he had his first double bypass when he was 36. I saved his life many times. Jim is very lucky that he only had to have stents put in through an angogram. The recovery time is quick. Your right Beth about Jim's face color. @@AdventuresWithTheHudsons Hello Jim, and Beth. I caught covid back in 2020,and I found out in July of 2020 that the covid attacked my kidneys, and put me into kidney failure. I had never been so sick as when I had covid. If you can, order a book called Heart Mates. It has stories of people, and their spouses that have had to deal with heart disease. It's a really good book to read. I hope your both doing good. ❤️🙂⚘️💝🤗.

Beth could I ask you a question, my Mom who is 90 years old has to has to have a heart cath. done on Feb. 19th and then sometime after that she has to have a heat valve replaced. They are insisting that she go to the dentist before her heart cath. did they have Jim see a dentist before he had his procedure done? My Mom and I just don't understand why this she has to see a dentist and would like to by pass this appointment all together. So that is why I was wondering about Jim. So glad Jim is better, he looks fabulous. Take care.

Hi Laurie, No Jim did not have to see a dentist before his heart cath. I remember my stepmom needing to see a dentist before a surgery. I think they worry that there could be a loose tooth or something. Praying for your Mom! 💞🙏🤗

Yup that is what I had also in 2021 I had COVID right after I got over it I had woken up on the floor facedown after going to sleep at night & new something was wrong so went to the hospital & I ended up having a widow maker heart attack mine was blocked 💯 they had to crean out blood clots & put 2 stents in sadly I must have been blocked for a while because it destroyed a lot of my heart ❤️ now if I got COVID I would most likely die because of my heart being scarred I got lucky i didn't die most do not make it thru a widow maker I was 47 at the time I'm going to be 50 this September
