Adverbs of Indefinite Frequency in English
We look at the following adverbs of frequency: Always, usually, normally, generally, often, frequently, sometimes, occasionally, seldom, hardly ever, rarely, and never.
We also look at the approximate percentages associated with each of these adverbs, for example:
Always = 100% frequency
Sometimes = 50% frequency
Never = 0% frequency.
Example sentences of these adverbs of frequency are included.
We also look at the pronunciation of the word OFTEN.
Next we look at the correct word order (or sentence structure) when using adverbs.
We compare when adverbs are used with main verbs, auxiliary verbs and also how the order is different when adverbs are used with To Be.
We show the adverbs that can be used at the beginning of a sentence, and those that cannot be at the beginning.
See our complete English lesson about Adverbs of Frequency here:

Hi dear teacher, I always watch and listen carefully to your videos. As a result, I have never done those saily English mistakes. However, I need more time to practice English in real life because I live in An Arabic country with a little contact with native English speakers. Usually, my friends and I are trying to speak English all the time, but unfortunately, it is rare to spend lots of time speaking it. In spite of that obstacle, we try regularly meet on the weekend to hang out and speak as much English as we can. Do not forget, I always apprecaite your effort dear.

Hey. Loved this video. I am really curios about something. I noticed you said "Adverbs of Frequency" but I have also heard "Frequency Adverbs". Why can this be expressed both ways??? It is like saying "Terms of use" I haven't heard anyone say "Use Terms" or "Adverbs of manner" as "Manner Verbs" Is there any rule for this? Any help will be appreciated...

Teacher, what if the sentence is " negative"? It is like when we want to deny someone's statement. For example: - A : She hardly ever gets angry. B: No, she doesn't hardly ever get angry. (B wants to emphasise that A's statement is wrong) Is the word order said by B wrong? Does it sound strange?
