I would love to see her push this with the provincial NDP and Liberal parties too rather than just targeting the UCP. Danielle Smith is the best thing that has happened to this province, and no offence, but there have been more pressing issues than just lower taxes to focus on. I am SO tired of people expecting everything to happen in 2 seconds flat. For someone who tried to run in an election, you would think she would understand how mandate letters and current issues impact the roll out of campaign promises. Had DS focused on taxes instead of AHS this woman would still have something to complain about.....

Oil & Gas Royalties Albertans are in for the best year ever under the leadership Danielle Smith. Her platform on how to move the economy forward for the benefit of all Albertans and Canadians in general is what makes her very special. And she is not afraid to stand up for our rights and challenge the destructive economic forces being imposed by Ottawa. Oil & Gas royalties is what it's all about and the sooner this province takes back control the better off every citizen in the province will be!

All provinces are equal partners in Confederation. Mhmm. Yet, Quebec seems to be a large recipient of Alberta's wealth. Quebec has control of their own policing, pension plan, immigration, and most importantly, tax collection. Alberta, on the other hand, has to almost beg Ottawa to send back money that Albertans have over contributed either through taxation of income, equalization, CPP contributions, and more. Quite simply, Danielle Smith should be pushing for every right and priviledge within the Constitution, that Quebec has outside of it. Ottawa has been taking Alberta for a slush fund ride since 1905. Keep up the pressure to hold elected officials to account, Nadine.

Danielle Smith has been the best Premier in recent Alberta history. The only folks mad are the insane NDP activists that nobody outside of downtown Edmonton and Calgary want.

Not a big fan of Smith. She appointed Allison Redford. Why would she do that? Also she has the same goals as Trudeau and the Liberals when it comes to climate propaganda. Instead of net zero 2035 she is net zero 2050. It's the same end.

She has to "play the game" because there are some international contracts that have been signed based on 2050, AND despite the fact that the science does not support "climate change", the political argument was lost about 20 years ago. You can not get elected without a "climate agenda". So lead by showing people technology gets you there instead of killing O&G and the economy like what Trudeau wants. With respect to "emissions" you really can have both.
