Adyashanti

7 жыл бұрын

adyashanti.org - Adyashanti delves into the true nature of our being. By taking a moment to stop, you allow Truth to reveal itself to you, and you can realize that you are nothing and everything simultaneously. Adyashanti invites you to stop and look deeply into the nothingness and everythingness that permeates your existence.
Video Excerpted From “Seeing Nothing and Everything”(DVD 62):
bit.ly/2pU7qFV
Quotes from this Video:
“It’s only when everything stops-even for a moment-that the thing we call Truth or Reality can reveal itself in all its simplicity.”
“When you really see into your true nature, you will see that you are simultaneously nothing and everything.”
“Every ego wants to be everything. Everybody says, ‘I want to have that oneness thing.’ Not many people say, ‘I would really like to find nothing. Can you help me find that?’”
“The whole human drama of conflict inside one’s self and between each other is because we don’t want to look inside and see our own nothingness.”

A few years ago I experienced the no-thingness. But I can't describe what I saw, because it was practically nothing at all.

Has anyone else experienced this? Those few life changing moments where everything is closer than close and fully connected by beautiful, tangible Love. Over 4 years ago since my experience and it continues to unfold further everyday. Please share.

I've never considered the elements of duality coming together light/darkness and all the other opposites of duality coming together to cancel each other out - you are left with nothing - this is awesome thank you! But you don't "find" Nothing, you are nothing. You are already Nothing and you've always been nothing. The "some-thing-ness" is a distraction from your true nature. Some-thing-ness is a trance. There is no trance or illusion in Nothing, there is just Nothing.

I possibly do not have a deeper love for anyone else but Adya, from the very first moment I discovered his talk "surrender or suffer" 8 years ago. Thank you for being the fire that lights this world. You are the embodiment of the infinite.

It's nothing because there's no time. If feels like time doesn't even exist. Everything stopped completely at that point. Imagine watching an empty photo for all eternity 😂

It is hard to describe the state or experience of nothingness. It's like describing with your mind a place of no mind. You lose everything. There are no thoughts, no sounds, no sensations of a body, no sensation of breathing, no sense of time. That voice inside your head that never STFU, That's gone. You never was that voice inside your head. You only have a sense of being there (awareness) without the ability to think, without movement, without control, without an identity. When you find yourself there, there is no realization or "aha" moment. That comes after and from the mind. It isnt a good or bad experience. Any distinction or description comes from the mind after the experience. People describe it as a wonderful experience but i don't think they understand how the mind works. They are describing it from the minds point of view. As soon as you begin to describe it, it is only the mind grasping at words. It is impossible for the mind to describe something when it wasn't even present. The mind can only know and describe what's known to it. It is why the unknown stays unknown. There is no actual feeling there, the mind goes about describing the experience as soon as you are back in mind. The mind has no other way to describe it other than to say it felt like... The truth is what you f̶e̶l̶t̶ experienced was the absence of ALL feeling. To the mind that feels....

Thankyou! Ive been wondering about my experience about "nothingness" and during: total absence of identity. It started during pregnancy 4 years ago and most often comes while resting. Youre the First person that explained! Thankyou so much!

Stop and see your own non necessity, then great fall takes place from the mental arrogance, and great liberation. Nothingness is a transparent void, so deep and clean, so pure and fresh. It has no bottom, no time. It's not a fashion, the last fashion to go for "nothingness": it is, on the contrary, to drop the fashion of being something, the everlasting escape of the mind from the Peace that lies beyond. Within the "hole" it's been mending for ages.

creating an identity for yourself that allows you to perceive your self image very highly. If you think of yourself as a god you will have godlike confidence and be unconditionally fearless (aka unconditionally loving). In this state you will feel completely grounded (everything) yet completely free and clear and cool, without the need to judge anything but simply be nonreactivce (nothing)

Sit still, with no intention. Do nothing. Notice the discomfort of that. Don't resist. Sit with it. Witness it. Remain there. Witness the ebbing and flowing sensation. It may feel uncomfortable. It may be construed by your mind as fearful. It may seem anxiety-causing. Sit still, witnessing the sensation. Look around the room, seeing nothing, experiencing the sensation. Witness it's ebb and flow. In a short space, within that space, the sensation will ebb.. nothing to witness. No witnesser, pure 'nothing'. No time. No distance. No doing. Simply.. being. Pure awareness of the nothing-ness. No description. The description arises afterward by the mind, via memory, which is in time, that can't be It. No mind IS 'it' Available always, unveiling 'nothing' by the temporary ceasing of the 'play' The play cannot know the nothing, the play is in the nothing, created by the nothing, known by the nothing. The 'perfume' of the nothing brings nothing into everything. Everything is nothing, nothing is everything. One-ness. I Am-ness. Simply... I 🙏❤
