The quality of these videos has risen again , really of a top drawer professional standard in terms of content and production. This could easily be broadcast on an educational TV channel and look at home. The increase in subscribers is much deserved and I’m sure will justifiably take off further

Agnes was deeply religious and chastised Burns for his protestations of love. He and Agnes (Nancy in the song) had a platonic relationship. Burns got Nancy's maid servant pregnant and abandoned her to her fate. He wrote many letters to her and she to him. After his death she was able to recover all her letters to Burns. They used pseudonyms in the letters. She was 'Clarinda'.
