Hi Kristina, if you'd like to diffuse fragrance in a particular space or have it be more noticeable in areas such as your living or dining room, we recommend selecting the duct that supplies air conditioning to that space. The closer the diffuser is located to those ducts or registers, the more noticeable the scent will be. We hope this helps!

Hi Kevin! Per our team, there should be no concerns about drilling a hole in the ductwork and having aluminum shavings fall down. We just advise to place the AE3500 next to the HVAC system and have the hose facing upward into the duct.

Hello! We recommend keeping the scent diffuser as close as possible to the HVAC unit. There have been times we’ve extended the tubing from the diffuser to the HVAC with a maximum of 10 feet. But we recommend placing the scent system close to the HVAC.

Hello Regan. Our fragrance oils are pure - they do not contain water. You can also refill the bottle with your own oils, but make sure the bottle is clean before refilling.

Hello, we are sorry for the late reply. The diffused oil will not linger in the duct work over time nor increase dust retention. All of our scent diffusers operate with cold-air diffusion technology and break down our oils into micro-mist, which gets released into the air we breathe. Hello! You can definitely use the AE3500 to diffuse scent in your home throughout the winter. When installing the diffuser and connecting it to your unit (furnace and AC), we do advise to connect the hose to the supply duct, which is the duct that supplies air to your home. We hope this helps!

Hello! If your heating system has ductwork where the scent can travel through, the AE3500 will definitely still diffuse aroma during the winter.

Hi Matt! Unfortunately the AE3500 does not have a way to tell if the HVAC fan is circulating. However, we do offer a Flow Sensor that can be used for the AE3500 and Flex scent systems, an accessory which can detect whether the fan is off or on and signal your scent system to scent when the fan is on.
