Continuing the strip down of the troublesome AEC V8 engines.
As described in part one these engines were a disaster for AEC and their parent company British Leyland with only 365 road going machines built.
This is one of three engines that were stripped to gain enough suitable parts to rebuild the original engine, many parts had to be re-machined or adapted to make as new.
This video is made up from reference shots that we make to help with the rebuilding process, as it maybe several years before it all goes back together.
