Yesthe answers are memorized. They never said they are doing a live/real interview. Just use these videos for educational purposes and learn from them, take the main ideas and make your own strategies for you exam

Yes people we know that the answers are probably memorised. They never said it was a live interview. They jus want to give us an example of how we are supposed to answer during the speaking tests. Instead of giving an unknown tooic. They should give some list of topics to select one among them. That would make candidate speak confidently and easily. It is ofcourse tough to speak about a new or unknown topic and eventually we make mistakes amd we will mess it up. Hope IDP consider ot and implement it.

it is hard, that most of the answers it's not natural. the answers sound like an article in a newspaper. when I watch videos usually the native speaker says shorter and more direct answers with a lot of "yeah, yeah!".

Answers in the IELTS should sound formal and professional for the most part. Do NOT just have a "natural" casual conversation if you want a band 8 or 9!

It looks like she is telling memorized sentences. Not natural at all, maybe we can learn some useful vocabulary from her responses but I definitely think not in this way
