Restored a carousel 176 note auto changer the most clever bit of the tracker bar is its ability to move left and right to follow the wandering of the roll but is also able to expand along its length to cater for rolls of varying width du to expansion and contraction. Hence those interesting vertical offset splits in the tracker bar.

Would you be able to do a video on the organ that looks like its in a piano case? Ive seen one before and I'd love to know more about it. Thanks again for the explanation video on the Aeolian organ. I never get tired of listening to it.

There are two videos on this channel showing that organ. Try this one first. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/grtlec-Yp7rKnnk.html

How are the pipes behind the shutters accessed?

It takes a bit of crawling/duck-walking under the carpeted area. That space is four feet high but the chambers are ten feet high.

Nice video. But funny that a Welte was shown as a piano example and not a Duo Art.

Nice catch! I used a recent video to show a player in operation not thinking astute watchers would be put off by the "brand swap". Had I anticipated the level of scrutiny that you, and perhaps others, view these proceedings, I would have chosen the key board of one of my Duo Arts. Perhaps the super rare Steinway BP would have passed muster. It was only 2 feet away from the Welte!

@@ampicoab - I think it makes more sense to NOT show a Duo-Art piano b/c it's already too confusing that Aeolian used the same trade name for completely different products!
