Small note: The version of Aeternus you’re watching was the version before 2.2, and the version that was released was after 2.2 + updated to work in 2.2 (also buffed lmao), meaning you HAVE to play this on 2.2

Aeternus was released to the servers in 2.2 so I'm pretty sure even by the demon list's rules it has to be beaten in 2.2 to be legit

no, demonlist accepts 2.1 completions, you just cant play aeternus in 2.1 theres no copy for 2.1 and the level was released in 2.2

1:36 to be honest it is a really hard looking gimmick. I can't really remember a lot of list demons with a blue orb spam (it's pretty much just tartarus, acheron, silent clubstep and silent club lol)

Honestly, new top 1’s aren’t the thing we need right now, we just want cool levels. The only reason people seem to make top 1’s is simply popularity, and it’s just not interesting. Personally, I’ll play a cool level over a hard level, but if it’s somewhat challenging its still gonna be cool, but if the defining trait of the level is it’s hard, then I won’t play it.

Well there is some top 1’s that are in development that are really cool (ascension to heaven, downbass incarnate and the apocalyptic trilogy are good examples) it’s just currently the most recent ones have been bad but when a few more good ones are verified the top demon scene will be epic it’s just that we are currently going through some bad times for demons

silent clubstep, sakupen circle, ecc... took many years to verify and at the time they were considered impossible like aeternus now, so I think we are gonna see this also in this case.

I’m pretty sure that the whole thing about people seeing 2.2 was inferior is only going to be around for a while but as more new people join the scene and some of the older 1.9, 2.0 and early 2.1 players start to fade away it will eventually become only really 2.2 being used for playing

Btw I think the 2.2 problem won't matter anymore in a feww months from now. For instance, Trick has the APT verification and surely he is aware of the fact that he has to verify it in 2.2. Top players are still playing old levels jn 2.1, but once enough levels on the list are 2.2 levels they will be forced to switch and adapt to 2.2 eventually (or if the current ones really don't feel like it they will just quit and new players willing to play in 2.2 will become the next gen of top players)

I honestly think its going to be another silent clubsted situation all over again, at the time is impossible, after some time people make progress, they verify it, and then gets placed 3 places under the top 1 of those times, and later the demon list team will put aeternus above that top level like they did with Slaughterhouse
