I've been doing low pressure aero for 10 years . I've grown in ebb n flood coco dwc and aero . Aeroponics well out preforms everything else by double once you get it down and the plants always seem to look so much better.

10 years ago I set out to build the ultimate aeroponic cloner for my tightly scheduled perpetual garden, and after years of trial and error as well as lots of logged data, I ended up building a "Super Cloner" with a small 16 site EZ Cloner kit, a NovaTec Coolworks ice probe micro chiller and temperature controller, along with the Bluelab Guardian monitor system, and I typically see roots in early as 3-5 days, with fully transplantable clones in early as 7-10 days depending on genetics. This is done with the pump running constantly, under Sunblaster LED's also ran 24/7. I use a simple bath towel to insulate the reservoir (makes water changes and cleaning much easier than permanently insulating the reservoir, as well as storage when not in use.) I like to keep the water temp around 75-80F in the wintertime, and 68-78F in the summertime. For nutrients I use: Clonex Cloning Solution, EZ Clone Clear Rez, SLF-100, and rooting compound gel added directly to the reservoir only on day one of the total cycle. Since i've built this cloner I might have had some cuts take a few days longer than others to root or to be fully ready for transplant, but i've never had a clone not root in under 2 weeks/14 days. Climate usually around 78-82F, RH usually around 50-70%. If there's any advice I can give to anyone interested in learning aeroponics, is to start small, log and learn from your data, and definitely use a chiller and constant monitoring system. That goes with pretty much any type of wet system, whether aero, DWC, RDWC, and so on. The warmer the temps, the faster the growth rate, but also a breeding ground for bacteria in the system. The cooler the temps, the slower the growth rate, yet the more sterile and cleaner the reservoir. ✂️🌱 🫧

Another fantastic and easy method, not sure if mentioned in video: Just have the plant growing in pure water/solution, BUT put bubbler at the bottom of the tank... Basically a reverse Aeroponics... Also works great, very reliable (add second pump for basically 100% reliability always, stay on 1 for 99.9%) and massive growth...

I just built my own hybrid aeroponic tower garden on my terrace with 4 towers, each having 28 plant holes. I can't believe I didn't come across your channel earlier during my research. KZfaq's algorithm works in mysterious ways sometimes. 🤷🏽‍♂️Anyway, I'm browsing through some of your videos and wish I had found this information sooner. It could have saved me a lot of trouble. My system is made of PVC (yes, I know, but living on an island limits my options 🤷🏽‍♂️). The towers are made of 125mm tubes and are almost 2 meters high. I haven't planted anything yet, as I'm still germinating the seedlings, but I'm really looking forward to my first crop.Ok, enough rambling. I'll keep browsing. 🙏🏼😎

How can the fogger deliver the nutrients? Wont it just deliver the water?

Have you heard of adjustable water culture?

Looking at taking my first foray into this, and I guess what you call "hybrid". Great information, but the big takeaway was that the water doesn't have to be on all the time. Are you using special timers, or can you give guidance to getting that piece of it?

Well im diving into my first Grow Op (mountain cabbage wink wink), gonna try get a Low pressure setup going but i can also find some high volume water pumps that will substitute my need for a pressure chamber (theoretically) if i add a regulator to the end of the water piping that opens above x pressure (aiming for around 5-6 bar). Its gonna be pretty cheap i dont wanna botger with hydro because i wanna learn how to do aeroponics properly and maybe turn it into a business, i think the low water usage is going to be a good selling point in the cities and suburbs

Do you think that I could use a cheap light timer for the pump and do 30min on, then an hour off in a hybrid system? I'm curious cause I have one on hand

If your not going to do high pressure, you are really better off with hydroponics imo. The risk of thing like root rot go up significantly the more water you use. I would also never do fog ponics. The ultrasonic fogger is exactly that. Ultrasonic bubble are used in cleaning metals because of the cavitation happening as the bubbles pop. This has to be devastating to any roots that make it to the solution the fogger sits in.

What problems need to be solved to make fogponics the best option? In a perfectly engineered system

Did you ever experiment with using an airbrush gun or a product such as this one kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y8uPZcaW0bO6lmw.html ? Also did you ever think about using a capacitative moisture sensor to control the foggers in a fogponix system? I am unsure of which one to experiment with, i'd love a recommendation :D

this is only for container plants. the earth will always be better if maintained properly

You could go through all this work each season just to grow some low nutrient annuals or you could put in 2 months to plant a food forest like pete kanaris does that lasts 30+ years with perrenials vegetables and fruit trees that have much more nutrition, and require very little maintenance

Have a question: Where is the best, at hybrid aeroponic LP, to put the sprayers in a 60L bucket, I mean higher or lower in buket and spray 360 angle around or spray directly to the roots, can be hard to spray directly to the roots?
