Unlike a French press coffee maker, AeroPress coffee makers brew grit-free coffee and are easy to clean up. Unlike an espresso coffee machine, they are simple and easy to use. They can even be used as a cold brew coffee maker to make cold brew in just two minutes!

Original recipe is the best. Brewing short and concentrated yields the smoothest, richest and sweetest coffee. There's no other recipe like the original and my stomach can definitely tell! No bitters, no harsh acidity and tons of flavor. Thank you always Mr Alan!

I figured out a few years ago that the forearm press works really well. You're not really pressing you just kinda letting gravity do its thing.

this thing is great. something so simple in in concept, so easy to use and clean, yet infinitely versatile for all different kinds of brews. its brilliant! Literally the only downside this thing has is it'll turn you into a complete snob when it comes to coffee without you even realising.

Thank you for this video. Very well done, in my opinion. Clear shots, great lighting, clear speech and no cheesy music in the background. Very informative.

Just made my first AeroPress coffee ever. I followed the instructions that came with it, calling for 1 rounded scoop per cup, but as I wanted a fairly strong American coffee I only diluted it to about 180ml total instead of the 230ml suggested in the instruction. Result is a lovely strong cup of coffee, but not bitter. I think I will adopt the 1.5 scoop in the future and dilute up to 230ml as 180ml is just not enough when we talk delicious coffee 😄 I have also ordered my first ever coffee grinder, which has not yet arrived, so for now I am even making do with supermarket ground coffee. Cannot wait to try out the AeroPress with freshly ground coffee!

Straight and to the point. A lot of videos these days are 8 or so minutes that are mostly void of useful information (there must be an algorithm or something that influencers heard 8 minutes is optimal), but this guy says what he wants to say and that's that. What was that phrase about brevity...

While politicians talk how to make America great again, Alan Adler already is doing America great. I saw Aeropress in any country where I lived or traveled - Persian Gulf countries as UAE, Oman, and Kuwait or in post-Soviet countries, where I am from originally. Not to mention of The World AeroPress Championship! The most important thing for me was the manufacturer's inscription - Made in America! I am sure it's one of the best ways how to make America great again. No need in saber-rattling or propaganda for war, just work as Alan Adler! It’s the best way how to make America great again. Just try to reinvent something American and put an inscription - Made in America, how Alan Adler did it. One of the best way to take on the world, how, for example, as does China. Aren't you tired of Made in China?! In my humble opinion, Alan Adler is one of great Americans of our time.

I absolutely love the non-science approach to this, there's no exact timing, there's words like "about", and yet it works just fine. Most coffee instructions are chem class level stuff anymore with fancy gram scales and timers. Give me simple all day long.

You are a genius. What we need now is a manually operated cream frother. Perhaps a small squeezable bulb or bellows that pumps hot air into the cream. Thanks for the Aeropress! BTW: It was Alton Brown that recommended this and he is a genius chef admired by millions.

Michael H...first idea I had was a tiny 1950s era egg beater. I bet a Google search would come up with something marketed to campers, preppers or people who hate buying batteries for every gadget. I too first knew of an Aeropress through AB.

I saw a review of this product on a youtube channel called ' Writerly Wittings ' the presenter is the international best selling British author called Michael Jecks who normally reviews, paper, fountain pens etc, having got to correspond with him many times in the last year or so as I'm also a writer albeit a self published one I found like myself that when Michael is writing we both like a cup of coffee, I tend to stay with Americano Decaffinated whilst Michael tries many different blends, always using Tassimo Coffee Pods, but recently he did a review on the Aeropress and the Aeropress Go model, so I went searching on Amazon and handed over my £26, I must say for something so simple in its conception and ease of handling it makes a jolly good cup of coffee, Michael when on his camping trips onto the moors, whilst I just use mine in the flat, so if you are thinking of buying one then think no more, just go out and do it, I have also started to try diffent makes/blends of coffee, some I like, some I don't but none are bad, so Alan , thank you spending lots of time in your workshop producing a might fine gadget, Mike, West Bromwich, UK

So, my method might be redundant. But I have the original aeropress. What I'll do, is I'll get a medium sized cup (too big, and the water might be too weak) I'll put two scoops in with the included scooper into the aeropress with the filter, I don't pre wet the filter, but you can if you want. And then I'll use the cup and for American style coffee, I'll fill each cup right below the cup handle line. If you want stronger coffee, fill the water to the middle of the handle, and for espresso, fill right above the bottom of the handle line. But anyway, I'll do two cups and heat the water in a pot until it starts to get warm but not boiling (so I don't damage the rubber over time) and pour the two scoops up to the number two or slightly above, mix it, the wet my plunger to make the plunger easier to push down. Once the concentrated coffee goes through, then I'll pour it into the rest of the water (there will be more since you didn't use it all when pouring to the number two line) and then boil the rest to make the coffee nice and hot. I usually clean everything, including the plunger with the sponge, so no oils get stuck into the press, I've heard of corosion over time, and the plunger can shrink, so I'll keep the plunger outside of the press so you don't have to pull it out so hard. But that's my method. It's probably stupid, but I've made each cup without need of measurement tools and no need for extra carafe. Enjoy!

No, on another video he said the filter prevents any spillage of the ground coffee while tapping the chamber. Here, maybe he just wants to demonstrate the steps and took a shortcut to move things along.

The dilution step is so undefined. I followed official aeropress instructions, one heaping scoop, fill water to number 1. I can only dilute to a 4 oz cup before it starts to taste watery. Searching on youtube, nobody follows the aeropress instructions, most people just use 15g coffee (more or less a heaping scoop) and then fill water to the brim, which Alan says he recommends NOT to do…Guess I gotta just come up with my own recipe lol

Just got mine today. A lot of hassle in my opinion when I have been using the Stanley for years. I got this for camping, and in the stanley you simply boil the water, and the insert the press in the same cup you have the water in already. I thought this would be simpler and less parts, but the Stanley is still a simpler process. Unless I am missing something?
