Nice review, thank you for taking the time. These are great products from Singular Sound. I use both of these and have 3 MIDI Maestros (also from Singular Sound) to control the Beatbuddy, the Aeros and my Roland Integra 7. All of their products integrate with each other perfectly. With the MIDI Maestro app I was able to create custom modes that work for my particular needs. Singular Sound is constantly updating their products and are very responsive to user input. These products have literally changed my life. Before Covid, the Beatbuddy allowed me to become a full-time working musician and I am forever grateful for that!

First like!!! I think I like this loop. The visual aid of waveform is very nice. That beat buddy is cool too. But the looper is top notch. Great video🎸🎸🎸

The colors of the waveform also helps identify what is going on; red= recording, green=playback, etc

Very cool looper, seems like a good mid point between a rc505 and a 150$ single button looper. The lighting in your video looks better too.

Man, I'm taking a serious look at this thing. Love the touch screen and although there's lots of ins & outs on this pedal it doesn't seem to be too complicated which is helpful for us tech-tarded folks.

Very cool looper, though a bit advanced for me. I can barely work my EHX 720, lol. Great job on the demo. I know it´s a good demo when it´s for something that I would never buy, but I still watch the whole demo. :)

Hi, I play electric guitar, bass and keyboards. When mixing my instruments within the stereo space, i would pan my guitar parts (L and R), bass (Centre), keyboards (L or R). Is it possible to record this stereo image into Aeros Loop Studio using a mixer? My aim is to have a panned stereo image recorded in the looper so that when i play it back via my monitors i get the full stereo image. How would i connect everything to achieve this? Thanks

2.5 min limit on importing backing tracks is a show stopper for me. Also You cannot import audio files into it.

The good news is, I actually got up and running in minutes on this one and had some good loops going, but then I need to stop and tweak something. So this one was actually pretty easy. The hours come with just making a perfect song :-)

Great review!!!! So would it be possible to record VST's from my laptop (Omnisphere/Kontakt etc) onto the AEROS?

Thanks! Glad you like it. And I believe so. Am I right that Kontakt is the symphony plug in for using a midi keyboard? I believe that’s what I used years ago to write an orchestral piece. Anyway; the Aeros does have an aux in, so you could run the headphone output from a laptop to capture anything you’re playing there . Hope that helps 👍

Does the lopper record the beat buddy drum track? I hope you can select no so the drums can be heard through the pa and not through the amp.

Hey there, we always recommend not sending the OUT of the BeatBuddy into the Aeros, and to just plug straight into a full range speaker/PA. Just make sure to connect the BeatBuddy and Aeros through MIDI with our BeatBuddy MIDI adapter cable and standard 5 pin MIDI cable.

I haven't seen a video yet of someone live looping with this looper where you didn't get bored watching the build. There is NO serial sync and the beat buddy is required to make this looper shine. Drum machines make performances sound like karaoke or a backing track. The nobs look very breakable and so does the touch screen....I'll keep my boomerang lll and sidecar....This very expensive pedal is one of those pedals wear the manufacturer makes promises of firmware updates that just don't happen for more features. Looks very plastic and not really built for live looping performance but more so a great daw for the studio...Built cheap but very expensive it seems

Build quality is quite good. There are no knobs except for the nice wheel. They have FW updates but too slow in coming. One came today actually. I don’t know what serial sync is but the midi clock sync works great. It’s not perfect and is expensive, but I’m pretty satisfied. It still needs a good import method for pre-recorded tracks and drum tracks that aren’t cheesy.

Hey Richard, thanks for the feedback. The Aeros can be use by stand alone unit without the use of the BeatBuddy. With the addition of the new Midi Maestro, you can expand your looping capabilities like never before. I have been performing live for years using the Beatbuddy, the Boomerang III and the Side Car. During the Covid lockdown I started experimenting with the Aeros and the MIDI Maestro. First I want to say the build of the Aeros is all metal and very sturdy, every bit as good as the Boomerang III. The firmware updates come out on a regular basis and are done over Wi-Fi, so easy! I doubt the Boomerang will ever get another update, Mike has sold the company. The Aeros has modes equivalent to serial and sync or both, it’s actually way more capable when using it with the MIDI Maestro. (like the Side Car) I encourage you to check it out, you really can’t comment effectively until you put your hands on it. They offer a 60 day return policy, if you don’t like it just send it back.

@@rickthestick8 If what you say is true...Then I'm in. It absolutely has to have serial sync tho like the boomerang lll does. Can you guarantee that? I have no use for a drum machine via midi...Hate it. I would rather create my own groove on one track while the others follow with different lengths. If it truly has serial sync like the rang...please demonstrate it...and I will buy one

@@SingularSoundOfficial So your saying "no beat buddy required" but the midi maestro is like the side car, correct? Is the mode generally known as serial sync functional with the maestro ... and...How much do they cost all together...I cant get thru that video because that hated beat buddy..don't like it at all...too artificial
