My dad recently passed away 2 days ago. This was his song to me. He told me the day I was born, he was driving me home from the hospital this song just released and since then it’s always been mine and his song. This is the hardest pain. A pain that will never ease or go away. My dad was my whole world. My heart is broken but I find some sort of comfort listening to this song 🖤 RIP to my dad. I love you so much, still haven’t gotten that sign you’re okay .. you left so unexpectedly

Awakened Hobbit I'm sorry for your loss and your pain. When death takes someone that's so close to your heart, your mind and your soul it changes who you are. The hard part (in my opinion) after a loss is the process of finding yourself again. Stay strong

I know exactly what you mean I lost my father in 2001. It broke my heart when he passed because he had become one of my best friends and I am his middle son of two sons I have a younger sister and my older brother passed but after he passed. God bless you I know the whole that you're talking about. Not necessarily a relationship that a son and father has versus daughter and father have. God bless you all It will get easier unfortunately it just takes many times around the planet for it to get easier to deal with I had since lost are two German Shepherds and one of our adorable cats and I have such a hole in my heart from the loss of all three of them cuz the cat slept with me every night and tucked me in for almost her entire life and the dogs were just as awesome as the cat was. My husband was in the military and when he was “traveling” and got the chance to call me he would tell me to play our song(this one) and close my eyes and just listen and he would sing this song to me. He was mandated to get the Covid vaccine and two weeks after getting the shot he had a blood clot that went to his brain and he had a stroke and passed away. My husband, our veteran passed away last week from COPD and this song was on my play list. The start of the song is....I would stay awake just to hear you breathing....And that's what I did for months just to make sure my husband was still breathing. His body finally gave in....but he fought this disease like the soldier he was. So this song has a different meaning and the same meaning at the same time for me 💔

My 13 year old German shepherd just passed away peacefully in my arms. I loved her so much. For some reason this song started playing in my head as I felt her take her last breath looking up at me. Hearing it now I can't stop crying.

Sorry about it but you are not alone, I lost my after 14 1/2 years chow chow and Labrador, 3 years ago and we still missed her so much, my adult kids sometimes cried, because they didn't get to see her before she died, Her ashes are still in my living room. We tried few times to buried her, but for some reasons we haven't done it.. I guess she still wanted to protect daddy and mommy as she was, very protective.
