Okay I need to nerd out because HOLY SHIT THAT WATER IN THE CUTSCENE, it's gorgeous example of how things don't have to be hyper realistic to be great 3d water animation, it moves and feels like water and waves while still fitting into the world. I love how much effort is put into this animation, it's all pretty and never feels like it's out of place or janky (at least from these videos). I'm at the tipping point to just say screw it play this, it looks really fun and the story and characters are reeling me in harder than the other games, turn based is my favourite style of game play

The "capri-" in capricious comes from the same latin as "caprine" i.e. goats or relating to goats so it means you're about as predictable as an excited goat (i.e. not predictable at all)

I was so rooting for him in penacony, and then he went and swept the floor with my team so hard I had to get the physical MC’s ultimate to level 10 to be able to beat him. Huohuo and Robin were screwed during the gamble from the start, and if Robin is using her ultimate and gets targeted phase one, she just takes the whole thing since she doesn’t get turns during it.

I got spoiled that *something* would happen because the very first loading screen after I took control of Dan Heng was the Dan Heng - Imbibitor Lunae one, I only really got to parse “Dan Heng - (something something)” and “Dan Heng’s true form” but I was like “excuse me WHAT did that say”

I'm sad that I started playing at the very tail end of Mr. Thunder God's banner. By the time I'd met him and learned how darned neat he is, he'd already left. Sad that I still don't have him to this day. But, I did end up with Acheron, Adventurine, and Luocha, so not the worst possible result, I suppose. But the second he has a rerun banner I am on it. That darned lightning spirit is too neat to pass up.
