This is a video of my flight at this years Arvada Aeromodelers Airshow. I was going to fly my 100cc Aeroworks Extra, sadly the engine went out on it. So my friend (Mark Dennis) was generous enough to loan me his 30cc Extra for my flight. First time flying it. Enjoy

WOW!!!!!! That's kid is AWESOME to only been flying for a year & half! I've been flying for over 15 years now and I still can't fly that good. Lol. Great Job Andrew!! Keep it up bro!

Thanks, I'll mix it up more for my next demo flight. Was really difficult getting "in-tune" with the airplane . Was the first time ever flying it and it flew way different than the airplane I was planing on flying. It was still a blast to fly and I think you're right. I should do more of a variety of tricks.

Just found your videos today. I have been trying to learn 3D for the last month or so. I figured out the rolling turn on my own, then found the Hobbyking training videos which helped me to learn the harrier, waterfall, and knife edge, but they seem to leave out some info. They don't describe all of the stick movement you see in the video. Today (9/26) I found your videos and really love the way you describe the stick movement.

I still have to go through the rest of your videos. I am leaning about tricks I never heard of. As for your demo flight with the Areoworks 30cc Extra 260, looks like a lot of harrier rolls. Would have like to have seen a bigger variety of maneuvers, flat spins and turn arounds. But hey, it was still great flying.

It was a DA120, fantastic engine! Best by far. There was a clunk-like noise coming from inside the engine. Very easy I shipped it to DA, and the next day and It's already on it's way back fixed completely covered under warranty. If you're getting into giant scale I would defiantly recommend a DA engine. They are the best by far and the warranties are fantastic! They are worth the extra money.

Hi, I am 13 and have been flying for about 6 months. I am just getting in to 3d. I just got a sbach 342 and it flys like a dream. I love your tutorials and they have helped me a bunch. I go to that same field and have made it my goal to do a demo sometime. Hope to see you some time.

always good to so kids getting into the hobby me myself am 17 and still flying 3d and real planes all you have to do with this hobby is practice be relaxed and set goals for your self good luck.

Great video! Was wondering what happened with your 100cc Extra's engine... Looking into larger scale planes, but not if an expensive engine like that tends to go out quicker. Thoughts???
