Hope you check out his track Cycles to Gehenna one day. It's easily my favorite storytelling song of his, possibly even favorite song he ever put out. It's a fictional story of a guy who rides his motorcycle wildly as a way to try and cope with the loss of his friend. To me it's some of the best lyrical imagery he's ever produced and the beat is just perfect for it.

None Shall Pass isn't in my top 25 Aes tracks but I DID A BREAKDOWN OF THE 1ST 8 BARS & IT WAS OVER 8 MINUTES LONG LOL!!! i never took the 'not enough young in his lungs for the water wings' as him saying he's old but that could def be it. i always took it as the 'vulgar poacher' is using the breath/life of the young to fill his water wings cuz aes' BEST album is Float & he's got a track called Float so i took the water wings as someone posing like they can float AKA rise above/carry their own weight but they realy gotta use the life force of the youth to give them any strength AKA their sqeezing life out of them AKA HUGE rise in teen suicide rate LINK TO me going over 1st 8 bars kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qNGBmKiUxNC-Z4k.html

@@durere I haven't made a top 25 or anything but, this one always finds its way into my rotation! This was my first real exposure to Aes so many years ago, so it holds an extra special place in my heart 🥲

@@durere i dig it & quote a handful of lines from it, but my top 25 r close to 100% quotable to me, i can listen to any 1 of em for hours on loop. Top 25ish r Commencement @ Obedience Academy, Kill the Messanger, Tetra, Marble Cake, Hall of Game, Sick Firend, Numb 2 Da Guns, Fast Cars, Citronella, Big Bang, 9-5ers Anthem, Coffee, Pigs, Nickel-Plated Pockets, One Brick, Drums on the Wheel, Jumpin Coffins, Frijoles, Klutz, Coffee, 5 Lice tracks w/ him & Homeboy Sandman, 2-3 from The Uncluded w/ Kimya Dawson, Rickety-Rackety, Untouchable, Daylight/Nightlight combo, Mayor & the Crook & a couple off of Garbology... dang i'm way past 25 already & there's a few new contenders on the ITS album sooooo , gonna have to recalculate LOL

oh & Dang i love Cook it Up, The Substance, one of the Tugboats, one of the Crows, LMFAO i put together a playlist of aes verses for an Aesop vs Eminem battle & some of those aren't in my top 25 but i think they'd be in top 25 of folks who thought eminem would slaughter him! i only skip a few of aes tracks, Dorks & RIngs & i know they are most requested reactions of his butttttt yeah I KNOW I'LL DIE HAPPY BCUZ I HEARD AES' ART. If i'm bleeding out i'll be hearing his lyrics in my head & i'll be smiling. CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE WHAT/WHO I'D BE IF I HADN'T FOUND HIS STUFF TO DOWNLOAD ON NAPSTER!!

why????? it is one of the most beautifully written poems but i HATE the beat & i feel u gotta be an uber fan to think it's in aes' top 25 OH & SOOO MANY AES REACTORS HAVE DONE GOPTHER GUTS WHILE 80% OF HIS ART HASN'T EVER BEEN REACTED TO

I’ve also never tried to rate any Aes song because my favorites literally change with my current state of mind. I am an Uber fan, but I also never said that because it’s irrelevant. I don’t feel that I’m any better than anyone else. I hope he ends up doing the whole damn catalog, that’s how I got here in the first place. TL;DR… that’s why
