Yeah, MY is the fandom name, but they also use the word MY as a synonym for "friend" in the storyline. That character which takes over professor Lee's holograph is the Black Mamba. The Black Mamba captures aespa in a so called "Hallucination Quest" in SMCU 2, that's what the scene represents, Black Mamba makes them see things which aren't real, that's why their eyes get blackened. Also the character at the very beginning is named Naevis, she's actually going to have music of her own eventually. Hope this helps!

so basically short version. We live in a technology ae world. The girls experience with their avatars joining them in class, playing video game, computer hacking, or a recreational swim. But what happens with ae gets hacked? Enter the Black Mamba. Who wants to poison the world. Naevis is their connection with Kwangya world and the read world. So she sends the avatar counterparts to meet with aespa girls to help fight the Black Mamba.

same, I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the production and thought put behind their lore. like they didn't half-ass it at all and it's so cool imo. I miss their KWANGYA side, hoping to see it brought back a bit in a comeback soon...
