Lee Sooman also picked Heechul from Super Junior, Yoona from Girls' Generation, Seulgi and Yeri from Red Velvet, Haechan and Jungwoo from NCT, Taemin from Shinee before Giselle.

@@rl6321 From what I understand, Lee Soo Man is the final round for everyone that auditions for the company, so technically, he has to approve every trainee that enters the company, not just the Saturday auditions. The reason why the Saturday auditions have a low success rate is because it's literally held every weekend, and so it's hard to be noticed from the sheer number of people that go through the system.

Giselle may be the least noticed member of aespa for now, but she's the one everyone is still curious about. The fact that SM made her rap in the teaser, then not rap in their debut song shows that SM is still teasing us about Giselle's full potential. This actually made me more curious about the future releases of aespa.

One of the big differences between Aeri and the other SM female rappers which makes her better in my opinion is that Aeri actually likes rapping and loved rapping from the start. She auditioned as a rapper with her own choice with the idea of wanting to be a rapper and didn't have to be a rapper because her group needed a rapper. She's also very passionate about rapping and i know she will get better and better with the love and passion that she has for rapping

I really thought she was gonna have a lot of rap parts in their debut song. That's usually how SM do whenever their group debut, a main dancer will have a break dance, the main rapper will have her/his rap parts and the main vocals will have his/her high notes. But then again according to the members they don't have their fix position yet, they are an all rounder as what winter said lol

There are 2 rappers in Aespa, but I hope SM gives more spotlight to Giselle when it comes to rapping because girl, she does fire. I would also love to hear Karina rap, but I want more Main Dancer for her. I think it would be wise for SM to really stress and emphasize Giselle's rapping as she is the Main Rapper. She would definitely shine as she already is.
