She just has an interest in linguistics, I wouldn't consider myself smart or educated but I also know three languages and am going to study for a fourth as well, not because I am smart or gifted but simply because I just like studying languages as a hobby, anyone can self teach if they have the motivation to do it, you just have to have an interest in it to begin with

You mean just like every XG member? 😅 In Asia, a lot of people understand 2 to 3 languages even if they're not fluent in it. Some of these languages are similar and easy to pick up for locals.

My niece learns two languange at school English and Mandarin, talks to her friends and parents in Cantonese, talks to her grandparents in Hokkien and talks to her maid in Indonesian. Plus she's taking Korean language lesson since last year. That doesn't make her a language prodigy coz most of the Hongkongers can speak at least three languages English, Mandarin and Cantonese both written and oral.

XG doesn't need Aespa to legitimize them. It was cool and nice of Aespa to as XG to do a Tik ToK with them but XG are already legit, just many people don't realize it yet. Groups, music shows, important people in the K-Pop industry are starting to realize it though.

@@jonathanwatson5818 Sorry, I didn't express myself extensively enough. XG are absolutely legit talent-wise, vision-wise, and even popularity-wise (just look at their performances in the US). They don't need artistic approval from anyone; they have proven themselves already. However, in the Korean music industry, they are still seen as outsiders, as though they don't belong. Karina and Giselle doing a challenge with Juria and Chisa, and Eunchae doing one with Jurin, helps with integrating them into the community of idols, letting them know that they are welcome and that this is indeed their place. That is what I meant
