The entire bit during the Julia drawing was a riot but it ending with a bible render of a horsehoe crab with the caption "I AM A BOTTOM." is just something else man. I love Drawfee so much.

Suggestion: I've become obsessed with medieval artist's depictions of animals that they've never seen. They're all comedy gold. It's the original Drawfee challenge! I think you guys should draw cooler versions of these depictions without knowing what animal they were trying to draw. (Just look up their ideas of hippos, whales, and chameleons for the best examples)

Camelopards are the best; you have no idea what in hell demon it's meant to be until you read the description the artists had to work with, and realise it's just a damn giraffe. Having to draw a creature you've never seen based on a verbal description is a hell of a thing.

I'm gonna take a guess and say that this episode was filmed at the end of the day. Because Julia having an existential crisis over how to draw a Crab Priest while Nathan, Karina and Jacob just go off on a total tangent about alternate universe Spongebob, felt like a fever dream.

Jacob brings pretty great chaos heat as a player in Drawga and Drawtectives. He’s “yes, anding” with abandon, crafting would be influencers without an Instagram account and orc cultures where peeing on someone’s shoes is the highest compliment.

The way that the crab priest lost the belt from the sketch to the render and became simply crab is yet another example of carcinisation in this world of crabs.

It's a strong take, but this time Jacob's right. Horseshoe crabs aren't actually true crabs -- or even crustaceans, like most other carcinised species. They're a different kind of arthropod entirely

The best part of the whole crab ordeal is that Jacob really has a point - horseshoe crabs actually aren't crabs! They're closer relatives of spiders and scorpions.

Yeah cause they have 8 limbs instead of the crab standard of 10. And @iPyromantic Horseshoe crabs have actually existed since the end of the dinosaurs and have changed little to none. They’re the peak. Everyone becomes crab but the horseshoe crab. Correction: I was wrong about the legs, they do have those standard 10. However, they have far too many eyes. 4 eyes atop and under the shell alone, plus sensors that act like eyes along the tail. So yes. Weird bug thing isn’t truly crab and never will be.

Look up carcinization. Many crabs aren't actually closely related as species, there's just all this convergent evolution with creatures becoming crabs. This is the fate that awaits us all. ALL SHALL BECOME CRAB

Honestly, I'm just so relieved that Jacob withstood the storm and did ultimately arrive at the hypothetically proposed question of does a person without context say a newly discovered horseshoe crab is the same type of thing as a the newly discovered standard crab. This was a real victory for Jacobs everywhere, and I support him

Fun fact, Jacob: Horseshoe crabs are actually chelicerates! They're Xiphosurans in the subphylum _Chelicerata._ So they're sort of like sea spiders (sea scorpions are already a thing otherwise I'd make that comparison since scorpions and horseshoe crabs have more similar mouth parts than either and spiders). Crabs are malacostracans of the subphylum _Crustacea._
